Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
I am just over 5 weeks post implant. I had sex for the first time after implant and my dick was not as sensitive as before the Implant. A lot less sensitive. I would like to hear from anyone who has experienced this. Does this get better?

Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
I was a lifelong two pump chump. Luckily for me, I'm the only guy my wife was ever with and she never knew any better. The implant cured that to the extent that the first few times we had sex after being implanted she asked me if I was EVER going to finish. She quickly followed up with she wasn't complaining. I found that by slightly decreasing the level of inflation I was much more sensitive and could cum rather fast for a good quickie. But to hell with that! I max it out till I can't possibly squeeze the bulb any further and ride like a pornstar.
Became DaveKell 2.0 on July 18th with Dr. Allen Morey in Dallas, TX. AMS 700 CX implant. 18cm with 5.5 RTE's.

Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
I have lost some sensitivity from the prostatectomy. And some at the incision site from the implant, but it is slowly improving. And I’m with Dave; having frequently been a premature ejaculator, neither my wife or I are too upset. I do find it difficult to orgasm about half the time.

Agree with Dave and Rads....my brothers.
I had to explain and then condition Miss H to the fact I can pound her for literally ‘hours’ without losing interest.....because I can choose when to shoot......yes it is delayed but I believe I am a much much better partner now that I am focussed on her rather than myself.
And something I had never experienced was the fact that not shooting makes me want to keep going.....and it feels amazing in a totally new way.

Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
It is somewhat common (you can find dozens of old posts about it on this forum). I lost a lot of sensitivity both time I had implants. It does seem to get a bit better after a year or so. Or maybe you just get used to it. I can sometimes orgasm during sex now, but not always. It is very frustrating to say the least. The docs and manufacturers play it down for the most part (naturally). Some folks claim no loss of sensitivity whatsoever (or even improved sensitivity) but I wonder if they are industry shills??
Something that seems to help a bit: don't masturbate too much, and also try getting some external stimulation (such as dirty talk, looking at porn, etc. WHILE HAVING SEX).
Good luck!

Wolf,
Is there really such a thing as masturbating too much? I was always told there was and that if I did it too much I'd need glasses. From about age 12, I figured "Fuck it", they'll invent lasik surgery someday and that will take care of it, and I never looked back.

Re the dirty talk and porn -- can you please email my wife and let her know? Better yet, can your wife email her and let her know that that kind of stuff is OK?

Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
Most men will confess to less sensitivity after an implant. I couldn't be happier and neither could my wife. Coming to soon is never a problem now. Thank God for the implant!

Yes, but not being able to orgasm every time is a real bummer.
Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
It’s important to give the healing process at least six months with nerve rejuvenation.
The vast majority of men complain about loss of sensitivity until healing is complete.
Having patience is a necessity...

Re: Loss of Sensitivity after implant.
I can happily report that I lost no sensitivity after getting an implant. That's just me I guess.
