Stressed - post op

I am 5 days post op and stressed. I am likely overthinking things as I tend to do but I cannot stop worrying about my new implant. I am worried about how much my doc left me inflated at maybe 25% and will this cause size loss. I am worried about "sharp" kinked feeling in the bottom of my shaft that I can stick my finger under, what is this? I am worried about slight curve to the left toward the glans. I am worried about what I will look like pumped up. Also, I cannot remember if my doc wanted me to massage my penis near the base everyday until follow up. When he was discharging me I was in so much pain from him pulling my pump down that I cannot remember what he said. My activation day is 7 weeks post op so thats 1 month and a half of worrying to go.

Talked to my docs nurse today but have not heard back.

Please stop worrying......all of those concerns you are having have been had by others, either as individual concerns or the whole lot.
You will heal and those concerns that are huge right now will dissipate.
Just be patient and allow yourself to recover.....eat well, rest and remain positive.
Your sex life will never be the same again :)

What Smetro said. We have all been there. It really is a lot of worrying for nothing. You will heal and forget all about the things you feel and what your concerns are. Just look forward to the positive. Rest and recoup. Weeks seem like a long time to wait but it will go by. Listen to your doc. Enjoy your new found freedom. Welcome to the brotherhood !

Take your pain meds and ice, ice, ice. You will feel a lot better when all the swelling goes down. :)

Chuck,
I hope your doctor's office will get back to you quickly to alleviate your stress. Just know that in our early days of recovery our penises are not normal looking.there is a lot of penile trauma that takes place during implant surgery. If your concerns continue, you should schedule an earlier appointment. Best wishes.

Lots of different pains to worry about. Relax, use ice. I am 21 days post and have worn out this forum answering questions about pain. Still on pain meds. Getting better every day. My URO left me at what must be 80% pumped. Couldn't even bend it. Larry said he was about 30%. EID say to not leave it pumped, Titan, That would leave reservoir empty and not good. Follow your docs recommendations. Relax and heal.

Besides, ice or bag of peas, stay off your feet as much as you can. Cheers. It gets better.

Dr. Eid does not send patients home totally deflated. He does, however, start them cycling within a few days. I think Dr. Kramer sends his patients home with a high degree of inflation so every doctor is different. If your doctor does a reasonably high volume of implants then discuss it with him but don't stress.

Talk to your doctor. Write your concerns on a list and make sure you get an answer from him for each one.
