I am now 9 days post-op with AMS-700 LGX. It hurts. I can go most of the day without major issues but when I'm lying down at night periodically it feels like the doctor left a pin or scalpel blade inside me. Shooting, sharp pain. I don't know if this is normal, but it is what it is.

Furthermore, my penis has a sharp right crook in it, which is unsettling. Doc says that's normal and will go away gradually once I start inflating, which he said I could start trying whenever I like. Too much pain still to try it yet.

Anyone have any other experiences to share? Is this normal?

16 days post and still have the same pain. double strength Tylenol every 6 hrs. pain so bad this am it woke me up. laying here with ice on it at 6 am. 3hrs since last Tylenol. I am not working. mostly lying on couch with dick hanging out. I can go out for about 4 hrs . I use a toilet paper cylinder to protect it from being touched. Tip is ultra sensitive. Base is where cut was and tubes attach. heal well and good luck. this will pass.

You should be calling your doctor. If you have had no relief in 15 days, that's not good. That's what happened to me just before I went septic.... well mine was 4 weeks, but still, don't fool around.

Just called doc, His assistant said if I came in he would drop the pressure some, but this pain is fairly normal. I may try that release button myself. Doc is 90 miles of heavy traffic away. Did it myself. Pushed the button hard felt a buzz at the block. Dick will now bend in the middle. Thought it would deflate all the way then I would pump it back some. Tried pushing deflate again but button is now hard as rock. Leaving it this way till next appt in 10 days.

Definately still here with ya bros. 7 days today. Last night was horrible with stabbing pains. And they say these things make us feel like teenagers again. That’s for sure, this thing is all over the place! Last weekend (when I had my surgery) my son was w/ my ex wife. This weekend, I love that boy, and just couldn’t tell him “no, daddy can’t play catch because my dick hurts”. So, I threw the ball w/ him for a little while. Feels like someone was playing catch with my balls, and using my dick as the bat. Gonna be a long night again!

I am 10 days out now (AMS 700 LGX). I have a few painful issues still, and am uncertain but trusting that they are still "normal." One thing I'm noticing now (more yesterday than today) is that as the pubic hair grows back, there is a critical stage when it's about 1/8" long that it feels like needles poking you everywhere. That sucks but is hopefully short-lived. I also have a sharp pain inside at the base of the penis, possibly associated with the tubing, not sure. My Doc told me I could try to inflate it now if I wanted to, but when I try to get a grip on it it's awkward and painful, so I guess I have to wait a bit. My penis is also bent right over to the right. Trying to hold it up against my abdomen as instructed (by tape, and now by athletic supporter underwear, is really uncomfortable. He claims it too will straighten itself out. Anyone have any input on this?

Sounds about right compared to me at 16 days. Yesterday I dropped the pressure a little. Pain still there. Gave up on Tylenol x strength. Went back to vicadin every 6 hr. Sitting here reading your post and stabbing pain hits at my glans. Pain and some swelling at base. Did get out and do some visiting today. AT one point, I pulled my dick out to pee and it was shaped with a twist in it . Glans was turned about 45 degrees from normal. Grabbed the glans and twisted it back straight. I guess this is the new normal. Dick that you can form like play dough. It does get better I hope. Hang in there.

Get yourself some peas, corn, navy beans or popcorn. Put it in an odd sock and ice the area 20 minutes at a time. Once the swelling goes down the pain will too. :)
