the problem is that the implant must be inflated so that the surgical capsule is created throughout the shaft and glans

Definitely get a second opinion, from a urologist familiar with implants.

Mine was quite hard to squeeze at first, and is still pretty stiff at about 15 months.
I can't get what I'd call a full pump, as in the bulb completely flattening out, so it takes me 45-50 pumps to fully inflate, but it definitely does work.
Age 59. AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 2cm RTE.
Peniscrotal, 2/23.
6.25" OEM with Cialis, about 5" post-op. (11/01: Length 6.75" and girth is up to 4.75" mid shaft.) Still growing, albeit slowly. :D
Cycling daily. Hoping to get to 7". ;)

Bigdave, is your LGX stiff when inflated? You have great length but my urologist says the LGX is not very stiff at longer lengths.

Also, when deflated, where do the tips sit? Are they fully out of the glans?

Well, I'm back. The URO told me today, I was having an auto-inflate. I was slightly inflated, and I know damn well I did not inflate. Too painful to inflate when you pump is still a marble/rock/stone. So I ask, what pain meds are you using or recommend to use to inflate? The URO says, I can't hurt or damage anything down there, no matter how hard I press or impact. I can get most any type of pain meds, legal or illegal. I almost have to use channel grip/pliers to depress that bulb. It's a stone. I have tried warm/hot showers and also warm baths. Nothing softens up that pump. The nut sack is just to tender to press that hard. Painful, very tender and painful to even think about sex.

He could not without a lot of pressure pain in the sack. I'm still at a lost. Where is it written or mentioned that a pump is suppose to be this fuking painful? Everywhere I have read or seen, You just pump the pump until you have a boner. Where did all this pain come just to pup a bulb.

The hell with the healing pain. That was a piece of cake. I can see why people have mentioned BluTooth before. This entire Penile Implant was a 8 - 9 in ease. But this Pump crap is a 0 - 2. Please think hard before you decide on the journey, the pump alone will make you say NO.

Big Dog: I’m reminded of a riddle from first grade.

What time is it when an elephant sits on your house?

A: time to buy a new house.

The follow on to that is what time is it when your urologist can’t make the pump work after a reasonable length of time?

A: time to go see a different implant surgeon. Seriously.

Something isn’t right. Yeah, I get it that it’s like squeezing a rock. Mine was that way for a good long time, too. Big difference, though. My squeezing the rock wasn’t particularly uncomfortable and I could feel the cylinders inflate & expand even if I wasn’t making much of an indentation in the bulb.

When you go to inflate, the first few squeezes ought to be pretty free and easy. You’re moving fluid from a reservoir to a cylinder of equal pressure.

After the cylinder is nominally filled, then the squeezes should be tougher. You’re moving fluid into a confined area and causing the pressures therein to increase which in turn will allow the LGX to do its expansion thing.

I would for real find a high volume AMS guy and go see him. Early on the trouble you’ve described isn’t unusual. What is real unusual is that it hasn’t resolved.

It's VERY stiff when fully inflated. Easily as hard as when in my 20's.

When deflated, the tips are still in the glans, just not stretching it out.

with just a few pumps (At least you are able to pump, Mye rock is too hard to pump. And if you squeeze too hard, there's only pain, nothing is pumping or squeezing. Nothing is pliable, stone a damn stone or rock. And nothing is pumped up. No penis inflation.) i get a decent boner and then even with a lot more pumps it doesn't seem to get any bigger just harder
