I’m hearing you.
I’m sitting at work doing my share to make the owner richer, thinking darn I’m day 28 I’m going to see if any one wrote about a question I have and I open my FrankTalk to this.
I do understand Mark does need to talk to someone about his anger issues, but darn, good thing I wasn’t drinking a beer I would have spit it out all over the place while laughing.
Anyway I’m 4 weeks post op and love my IPP, what I’m looking for is a thread that someone may be discussing the feeling of pump and tubing swinging while boning their woman or SO. If anyone knows of one send me that way please and thankyou.
What is your sex life like? I’m a Romantic She’s a Nymphomaniac.

UpNorth, FWIW I don't feel the pump or tubing during PIV sex. Neither does my wife. If there is any feeling like that its so unobtrusive that it doesn't register with either of us.

I myself was not that the type of person who should have gotten an implant. I did it for the wrong reasons...mainly loneliness and wanting to date again at 50. I didn't want to be a disappointment or face rejection for having developed ED. I'm sure many of you can relate

Mark,

Thanks for your detailed response. It’s definitely should be seen by all who are considering an implant.

I’m in the very satisfied crowd at this point - just about 6 months in - but I don’t think I can have an honest assessment until about a year. I’m generally pain free at all times and have adjusted to the size of my package. I will sometimes have some discomfort when I sit in my recliner for an extended period but I can just move it to find a comfortable position. When I first began having sex I experienced the loss of sensation that seems to be common…delayed orgasm wasn’t too bad (my wife didn’t like going longer but it did my ego some good) but for the first two months or so I couldn’t tell when I was about to cum. So my orgasms weren’t as strong as before the implant. But that has faded now and I can feel it building and hold it back to maximum the explosion. And the delayed orgasms have also faded. That would bother me if I were younger and had a partner who thrived on intercourse but my wife rarely even achieved an orgasm via intercourse - maybe three time in 20+ years and never before we met. She has always needed to be brought to orgasm before intercourse so we spend 20-30 minutes of intimacy working up to her orgasm. It works for us and I really enjoy being able to penetrate and finish inside or her.

If I could offer some encouragement I would suggest two things:
First, don’t undo or redo the implant for at least 6 months to a year. Physiologically you’re still adjusting so let it get completely “healed” before making any changes.
Second, your issues seem to be driven more by emotional isolation and loneliness which you have linked (almost exclusively) to ED. I strongly encourage you to get a counselor - not to talk about ED but to confront the issue of loneliness and isolation. I’ve used professional counseling before and a good counselor can help you see for yourself the things you sometimes just can’t see by yourself.

Good Luck and hang in there!

You are poison.

I don't see how my pink pony is relevant to my aversion to my implant

Thanks for the thoughtful response.

After being implanted I realized there other things more precious to me like natural erogenous sensations, aesthetics, nerve sensitivity...I became so fixated on losing the hardness of the shaft it blinded me to the complexity of our reproductive systems and the sacrifice I was making by jamming crude rods into my penis

I mean, look at the situation objectively and not just through the lens of shame that ED brings on men. We've destroyed much of what was left of natural arousal to mechanically lift up our penises. It is no small trade off

Man I hate to hear that it's so hard for you & it's understandable in your current position to regret it. I consider myself lucky to have a good outcome I'm satisfied with, especially reading of some people's bad experiences. It is a risk that is taken by all of us who elect to get implanted so it seems fair that some aren't happy & should have a space to vent/let others get informed of these risks too.
I can also imagine a mpp is harder to get used to than an ipp. Even with an inflatable mine is over 7" hanging down flaccid (bone pressed) so it's definitely taken some getting used to having this thing in the way now. When inflated it's gotten to be a little over 7.5" so requires adjustments here & there & to the touch, doesn't feel natural while flaccid.

I understand others frustrations with the negativity too & I'm not a fan of whining either (not saying you are & can't say I wouldn't be nuking the planet if I fucked up my penis) but honestly I feel for you cuz it would suck to feel like you destroyed your manhood. I do hope you get in a better space man & there's definitely more to life than sex or our dicks.
My advice would be trying the inflatable if u can tho as I feel like you don't have much to lose in your position. My experience has been good & I attribute that to being positive & trusting the process so if you can try to change your outlook you may be surprised with the outcome. Nothing against mpps at all but I feel like some of your biggest issues you're having could be drastically improved with an inflatable & it just being flaccid.
Wish all you guys the best & hope to hear that you guys who are suffering get in a better place
