Tomorrow is 5 weeks post op. Had my second follow up appt today and I'm cleared for cycling and sex. I actually started working on cycling a couple of days ago.

How long did it take for you to get comfortable and proficient at cycling? I'm having a little trouble getting it filled up. A lot of it is pinching and tenderness of the scrotal sac.

Doc pumped me up half way (ow) to check the pump and surmised that it is working well, and also that the cylinders are in a good place.

I am interested in hearing your experiences and would appreciate any tips or tricks.

So last night I managed a fuller pump. Pinchy Tenderness was very slightly less (or I'm getting better at it.) Pulling the fat pad back, which also points it upward, it looks like I have something downright usable. (I was never porn star sized, so I was not expecting a baseball bat.) After seeing my glans barely peeking out of my purple grapefruit bag after surgery this is quite a relief!

I thought I had hit the deflate button but apparently not, as I woke with it still pumped up. Looks even better this morning. So it looks like I’m making progress. I’ll be seeing my girlfriend at the end of next week, so I have till then to work on getting ready. She is very sweet and pretty, and has been very supportive of the whole process. She deserves to be f@#ked into a happy puddle. (Realistically it might take a while to get there, so I plan to stay thankful for every step along the way. )

Last night (day 36) I finally managed a pretty full pump, to the point that I got a dull ache in my glans. Gear shifted some, followed with a couple more baby pumps each time. It's been 15+ years since I have held a truly hard member in my hand. That was quite a feeling.

While pumped, I located my pubic bone and saw my potential. Once my still swollen fat pad and ball sac have healed, and the weight loss I am working on has kicked in, I just might rival my youthful size, which is almost more than I could ask for, based on the experiences I've seen on the forums. I attribute this to two years of "therapeutic massage" between myself and my GF, along with 6 months of fairly regular VED use prior to surgery.

My pump rides a little high still, and it took about ten minutes to properly hit the deflate button, but eventually I managed it. I will continue to pull down on the pump, and I'm sure I'll get better at it. I'm only a short way along the journey, but so far travel seems to be going well. I know anything can happen but right now it looks like I'm squarely situated in the 95%, for which I am grateful.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences. Has anyone else noticed it gets thicker towards the base, almost like a wedge? It actually seems like it might be a good thing.

Hi, I’ve been following your posts and progress. They have been very helpful. I’m about to start pumping a little and I’m approaching 4 weeks. I expect I will be cleared to pump more next week.

What was your experience the first few times you pumped. Was it painful, did it go away soon after deflating?
