My reply is directed to point number 4 and point number 4 only.
I don't think unreasonable failure rate is exclusive to the OTR since MAUDE reports mention both models with alot of genesis tubings failing early too.
But I agree that classic pumps are more durable since these companies only try to downgrade their products durability to keep the 30% yearly revision rate and their quarterly profits up....and yes genesis/classic pump design is more reasonable as per Dr.Eid....but again maybe "less" shittier...still shitty.
If as you said "he USUALLY sees a 20 year life span from the classic device" , why did he celebrated a surviving 12 year OTR like a unicorn on his channel ??

Don't tell me because it's an OTR and 12 year is a unicorn with an OTR and not the genesis/classicbecause he would have published dozens of surviving 20+ year surviving classic/genesis pumps on his youtube channel if he USUALLY sees them surviving that long.
Also he himself said that the average device life expected (100% sugarcoated) is contingent with modest use once or twice per week.
I knew you wouldn't be far away. Why do you have to spam everyone's journal posts with your big pharma conspiracy theories. Just start your own thread where you can talk endlessly about unreliability of IPP's. As it is, no one can post anything positive without you parroting the same thing over and over again, we get it. The worst part is you don't even have an implant, why are you even here if you're so against them?
