Go in and request it sent PLUS get a copy in hand and overnight it to him. Getting it twice is better than some fool in the office never getting around to it. I've been in that boat before. Good luck buddy. You'll get it done. Usually if Dr.Kramer's office requests it from you doctor, there is no charge to you for it.

I went in to my local urologist and filled out a release.

I also got copies of the reports and emailed them to Dr. Kramer's office.

Richard, you might want to skip to the end of helpful info. I am dealing with the same $#it with United Healthcare today too. Have my labs but still no EKG or xRays. 3rd day straight I have sat in a doctor's office full of sick people to be told they won't do it. Had a doctor tell me today she would not do it because I take HIV meds, then had another start laughing and tell me that if I would have my surgery in this town it would not be a problem. I called up to St. Louis for an emergency appointment to get this all done. Set up with a doctor I know and trust but I have to get up at 4:00 a.m. Friday drive 122 mile to get there in time to meet him at the office. He is coming in early for me. Un Fu@#ing believable. Today I have dealt with idiots till I have zero voice left and exhausted. Everything from being my certifiacte of medical necessity has expired to will not test or will not send records. I literally can't talk but whisper from this crap. I have had MANY surgeries and all but 2 were out of town with local testing. With the new administration it seems attitude has changed back to the same old crap they used to pull before the Affordable Care Act passed. Back then I had to deal with this $#i! daily. After ACA I did not have to deal with it at all, only insurance denials for the implant. Richard my man, if you have any more issues, then call AMS customer service at 1-888-545-5205 and ask for Shelly Riley. Tell her you need help getting insurance approval from United Healthcare. Ask her to do a conference call with them to get it sorted out. Her email is rischelle.o'reilly@BSCI.com She was a MAJOR help for me last year. Even if your doctor decides on a different brand, go ahead and enlist her help. They have another guy that helps with certification but I think Shelly is better at it. Best of luck to you. It gets stressful so I am sending you some hugs by email. Hugs man.

I'm departing for the airport in about 30 hours.

I can't believe this is actually happening.

Thanks.

I'll be posting a play by play of the whole thing.

I'm really not sure what to expect during the recovery in the hotel.
