I'm wondering whether a longer than average distal length could mean that someone's dick hangs lower when erect. Simply due to weight and gravity? Dunno. Have you tried massaging around the scar tissue and see if it helps? I'm kind of gently massaging along the corporal channel including the bulbar region behind the scrotum. Mainly it helps relieve discomfort, as I'm still early recovery, but it also seems to promote blood flow/engorgement. No one has told me to do it, I just decided to.

I'm 5 years into mine now, I think what scarring is there is pretty much permanent at this point. I point downward to about 4 to 5 o'clock when inflated.

Just a thought. Have you tried different types of cock rings or similar to help attain the angle you prefer?

I've worn several, but they don't change the angle it's at when inflated

Sorry that you haven't found a solution. How much does the existing angle affect you when fully inflated/hard?
70 y.o. married from Sydney Oz. PC and nerve sparing RRP 2022, but still profound ED since. Tried pills, injections, shockwave therapy, VED. Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery going well.

Just a bit annoying to have to try to lift it upwards for sex and there is some resistance to doing so to get it to 90 degrees outward, but I'm still able to perform with it.

OregonStrong, FWIW I've read that the angle changes with age :

1:00-2:00 in teens, 20's, 30's
2:00-3:00 30's, 40's, 50's
3:00-4:00 40's, 50's, 60's
4:00-5:00 50's, 60's, 70's+

8-) Great! I was thinking sex may have been problematic in some positions. Keen to know where I'll land but I have to be patient.

Are there any stats for post implant Chuck?

LGXDownunder, when my Dr talked to me about the angle changing at different ages I did some searches to understand better. That previous post was what I found in those searches. There was no differentiator between implanted vs non-implanted. So no, I don't have anything specific to angle for those of us who are implanted.

I never had mine pointed upwards. I asked my surgeon if I should and he said no. He said that is not normal.

I just asked my surgeon Dr Eid about this. I’ve been dressing with my flaccid pointing up since surgery 2 weeks ago. My current inflated erection points up to 2 o’clock instead of straight out at 3 o’clock. I like this and would like to maintain this upward angle.

I asked him if I should continue to dress with my penis pointing up to help maintain the upward angle. His response was this:

“Yes it will help maintain the angle. Keep the flaccid pointing up until you are fully healed, 4 to 6 weeks if tolerable.”

So that’s what I’m gonna do.
56yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills, then shots for 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan w/classic pump by Dr Eid 3/25/2025. Will meet for show & tell.

Up until my RP 6 months ago, my natural erection (with a little help from 20 mg tadalafil) stood at 1 o'clock and didn't need any manual help to enter my wife, belly to belly. No change from my teens.
I'm 74.
RALP with 75% nerve sparing 10/24.
Some tumescence from 5 weeks post op. Erection improved with pills, stalling @ 60%
Frisky with young wife again. Implanted Rigicon 10X 20 cm + 1 cm RTE mid April 25.
