He just wrote me that it's difficult to fix but if it bothers me it can be fixed. I had it less noticeable for the first 8 months. Anyway no girls were able to feel it because my sack during sex become very hard and it's not as easy to feel. Anyway i already had 3 surgeries so I don't want to have another one for a thing like that. I don't feel any discomfort during sex. I suggest you to wait some time to see if it's a problem during your sex life. For me it's not and I am also 33 like you and I don't want that my partners know i have an implant. No issues till now. If it became worst or if I have discomfort i will contact doctor again to have it fixed anyway.

Hey CautiouslyOptimistic, sorry this is weighing on you so much. It sounds like you just got the surgery in the past few weeks, right? I’ve got my own doubts and concerns from my surgery 11 days ago, but I take a lot of reassurance from reading the journals of our most satisfied members and seeing how in the initial months after the surgery they were still doubting whether they had made the right choice. It seems to take awhile for the body and mind to fully heal, much longer than it takes for the bruising to disappear.

Maybe the pain, appearance and discomfort of the tubing will lessen after several months? Managing ED has been a marathon for all of us, and I hope you’re able to summon up some more patience from your reserves. You’ll get this fixed eventually, whether it only requires more healing or even a revision with some other doctor. There’s a bright future ahead, even if the road to get there is longer than we had anticipated.

Mid 30’s. ED since early 20’s. Pharmaceuticals were helpful initially, but stopped working. Implanted with Titan 22cm -.5cm (no RTEs) by Dr. Clavell 1/26/2022.

I’m gonna chime in here as an “in betweener,” 55yo with a hot gf under age 40 who could have any man she wanted (and sometimes does at our swing parties). She stuck with me through the surgery. And yes, I can feel tubing right at the base of the underside of the penis wrapping around. She noticed it grasping the base of my cock as she sucked it one night. Gave me a weird, curious glance. I said it’s not ON the dick itself and might settle over time, might not. She never mentioned it again.

Yeah, it bothers me a bit- it can be felt when the base of my cock is grasped, but not enough to even consider another surgery which would sideline me another month and risk a dreaded infection, not to mention some other bad outcome. I choose to live with it. I’ve been with several women at swing parties and in at least one threesome, and no one has said anything, and the ladies enjoyed themselves. Luckily they are also drunk/high so less likely to care even if it was noticed.

I guess the younger you are the more it can matter.

When you are at these swinger parties do you just pump up and say "Ok ladies I'm ready!"

Sorry it took so long to respond. I canceled my telemedicine appointment with Dr. Eid and I’m waiting to hear from the VA about fixing it. It hurts everyday now whether I cycle or not. I’m on a short time frame to fix it as I start work again on 2/27. This does suck. I was really looking forward to using it a lot. If I have to get it done thru Medicare does anyone have an idea how much my cost would be?

Hi,
I am starting the process to get an implant at my local VA Hospital. I had radical prostate removal surgery on the summer of 2020 and have not been able to get an erection since then. I tried vacuum, sildenafil, tadalafil, and trimix, but none worked. My urologist says it looks like I have lost girth due to collagen loss in the penis. I have to get the cystoscopy done tomorrow. But I still don't have a date for implant surgery.
My wife has not been too supportive with my situation - I hope she changes her point of view after the surgery. We have tried oral sex and using a vibrator but she says she needs the real thing. I cannot ejaculate but I can reach orgasm by masturbating my sleeping member.
I do have a lot of questions for my surgeon and one of them is the tubing since I have lost girth. I still do not understand how the penis head will get bigger due to the implant. The implant only affects the shaft and not the head, right?
Implant is my only and last option if I want to have sex with my wife. She keeps telling I should not get the implant for her but I keep telling her it is also for me. This is taking a toll on my self esteem and other parts of my life. I have nothing to lose if the surgery does not work. I also developed Peryionies near the penis head - I injected trimix a couple of times and my penis looked like the old Concorde plane with the nose down. This is why the engorgement of the penis head is of concern to me.

Thanks for 'listening'.

Well I finally got a green light from Dr Guise to fix the location of the tubing. Just trying to juggle my work schedule to take off some time again to heal. I don't look forward to the healing process again but I know what to do now. I told her it still aches where the tubes connect and she said wear a jock strap. Well so far she was right lol. I used it today and then put the jock strap back on and so far so good.
