I am 1 1/2 years into this wonderful journey and I can remember those first few months. My scrotum was so black and blue my girl thought the whole thing was just going to fall off. When I first started to cycle I could only go for less then a minute because the pain was so bad, and the pump was way up and very hard to reach (my Doc also told me to try pulling it down all the time)But as soon as my body got used to it and I learned to use it I got better and happier and now it is so much a part of me and I am so happy I had it done. I went 20-25 years having ED and at first Viagra worked but then it stopped working. This was a true life changer, I can have sex anytime and for as long as I want, it is great. I also have a Pacemaker so am truly BIONIC! Be patient the pump will relax into place I can use my left or right hand, the pain will go away and you will want to use the thing all the time. I also had premature ejaculation when I was younger so I could never last very long so I can tell you it changed my life so much, I could never perform like I can now. It just takes the body a while to adapt but once it does hold on because the ride gets wild.

I am hanging onto these words--I am not a patient person by nature. BUT--I am extremely excited about the what is ahead and your experience stokes that excitement. I am still holding out hope that my doctor will deflate me on the 9th and I can begin cycling! And hopefully, I will be able to swing a golf club and racquetball racket soon as well.

AWESOME news today! :D I had my first scheduled follow-up and the news could not have been better. Most importantly I have been deflated and am cleared to begin cycling the prosthesis. It felt very good to have a more normal size penis in my pants again. And my first impression is that I do not really notice the cylinders when I relieve myself. In addition to beginning cycling, I am also cleared for golf and sex! (I wonder why I wrote it in that order?) Yes, I was shocked at that. I'm not sure if my wife was happy or sad when I told her that. The only thing I was not cleared to do was resume training on my studio cycle--I need to wait for my next follow-up in two weeks. I am three days short of 4 weeks since my implant surgery.

And remember, I also had a testicle removed and a cyst taken off the remining testicle as part of my surgery--so the suture line is fairly long--it runs all the way down to the pump. But the swelling is all gone and I am in absolutely no pain. Thanks to all of the good advice from people on here about taking it easy and icing! I think the icing--which was accomplished by rotating three bags of peas every 20 minutes on/off for almost four days, really did the trick on the swelling.

I think you could have left the "golf" reference out and left it as a double entendre.

And the first numbers are in.

I have been cycling my pump since Tuesday the 9th. Today I decided to take a measurement. I have never measured my girth, which was impressive before surgery and it is significantly less now but I cannot quantify it. I expected to document some loss of length, my doctor told me to expect a 1/3 inch loss. My measurement this morning indicated no loss and maybe a 1/4 inch gain in length. Since I measure from the pelvic bone, I am pretty sure the numbers are accurate. I have to admit as I began cycling I felt that there was no appreciable loss. I had previously lost over an inch due to prostate cancer treatment--so maybe I gained the little bit by stretching out some of the tissue that had atrophied.

Used Operationally for the first time

Last evening my implant received its first operational use. I was a bit nervous about it since I was only cleared for actual use on Tuesday. Results: It worked great. The reduced girth was noticeable, but all-in-all it worked like my original equipment used to work--I just need to relearn a few things. AND, I might have had just a little bit too much wine earlier in the evening. But the spontaneity was back! And there was no pain as there had been from using TRIMIX and also no lingering erection for up to three hours afterwards.

I am still very excited about how things are going and my recovery from the surgery.

Great news Bob, things are looking up. the cx spoz to have girth expansion too so maybe in time that will improve. I am hoping to get the lgx think it will be more natural looking when down and have some girth control, I will miss girth the most.

You are going to do fine. I am pulling for you and want to hear all about your experience next Thursday, the 18th. Keep a positive attitude--you have been through a lot of scheduling problems already.
