I would compare it to contact lenses, hair extensions, breast implants , etc.... initially you are correct, in that there is now a foreign piece of garden hose inside your pants, which is a completely unfamiliar sensation. ....but over the course of a few months, your memory of your prior state fades.... and this becomes the "new normal". If its somewhat deflated, it just looks like a guy who's a bit endowed. the only time i stress (and try to squeeze it to total minimization) is if i have to hug a close female relative. that's the only time i personally feel self conscious.

Agfa,
Neither I am.
Mine deflated looks terrible like a road kill, or it was run over by bus tire.
It is something that will never look and feel normal.
But, it is better then nothing.

I had my pump moved to the lowest possible place. My gnads rest on top and beside. It took 8 or 9 months to not feel that I had an IPP. From then on it has become invisible until i need it.

When mine is COMPLETELY deflated, I can feel the collapsed cylinders if I palpate my penis. If I have just a little inflation (10% maybe), my penis feels very much like it did before the implant. I can still feel the tips, but I have to be searching. A partner would probably feel them - maybe.

I have no discoloration at all and when pumped up the shaft feels completely normal except less round than before the implant. It is now wider than deep. My partner does not complain. I think anyone would have to be particularly picky to object to my penis on that basis.

LS, after my tissues relax, the deflated cylinders are less pronounced or even impossible to find. Essentially I plump up and look round again. I've been getting some tumescence recently too (read: getting a woody) when I get a little frisky with my wife in public I find I'm getting a bit stiff (yea!)

Of course as you say, after deflation I do feel the deflated cylinders but that only lasts maybe 10 minutes or so until things fill in the spaces and everything rounds out again.

Lost Sheep,
My completely deflated is always at 45 degrees angle.
If I add pump or two, my angle goes to 60-75 degrees which is even harder to hide.
I am very short after RP so it’s not much to be influenced by gravity.
Before my implant, I knew very little about different brands and models so I accepted what my surgeon offered me.

I am not sure I understand your angle measurements. As I read it, your "pump or two" direction is lower than your "completely deflated" direction? (I am assuming zero degrees would be right up against your belly).

In any event, with me, that is a non-issue as I wear my penis (4.5" deflated and 6" inflated) pointed up and a bit to the side. It is held against my belly by supportive underwear. Very little bulge, even if inflated 70-80%, which puts me at nearly 6".

LS,
I am talking about 3:30-4:00 o’clock.
I count 3 o’clock as 90 degrees.
Completely deflated at 45 degrees.
With added pump or two it goes up to 3:30 or 4 o’clock.

I am talking about 3:30-4:00 o’clock. I read as: 105 degrees to 120 degrees
I count 3 o’clock as 90 degrees. OK
Completely deflated at 45 degrees. I read as: 1:30 on the clock
With added pump or two it goes up to 3:30 or 4 o’clock. I read as: 105 degrees to 120 degrees (as above)

So, when you pump up, your penis moves from 45 degrees (completely deflated) to (added pump or two)105-120 degrees. It moves downwards?
