Genesis,
Happy to hear you are doing well. You mentioned finding your pump low between your testes and wondering if that is OK. It sounds ideal. Many doctors tell their patients to keep pulling down on the pump to get it there and guys have revisions more often because it is high and needs to be moved lower. Your sounds perfect.

Jackhammer,
You mentioned most guys seem to lose length. I do think that once was the case but it certainly seems like many of the guys here have maintained their pre-implant size. My deflated and inflated sizes are both longer and have more girth than right before my implant. I had experienced a lot of shrinkage from ED and mostly from having my Prostate removed. Now my deflated size is back to the 5” it was most of my life and my fully pumped size is back to within 1/3” of my original 6.5” length. With my LGX there is still a chance I will get that back.

Is that also true with the Titan implant as well?

So interesting how our surgeries can vary so much.
I was in hospital overnight (11am surgery) catheter til about noon next day.
Blood drain thingy was out first, catheter second.

I think we all hope for somehow to keep all our size when we get implanted.
That's almost never the case even with the most aggressive surgeons.
I've lost probably .75 of an inch if not a little more but when aroused it swells at the tip.

Keep healing you're doing great!

I'll bookmark your thread and if there's any questions let me or any of us know :)

Jackhammer!
It is interesting how the surgical approaches and recovery differ from surgeon to surgeon.
As long as you can start cycling around the 2 week mark barring any complications I would call that a success.
I was thrilled to learn I had no catheter in recovery and equally bummed when I couldn't pee on my own so we had to put one in anyway!
If I were able to pee on my own I would have been out of there within 1-1.5 hours of waking up.
Regarding the size thing, I think when all is said and done I will be satisfied.
Had a dream last night that my dick got huge overnight but when I went to piss it was like a firehose and I completely drenched the room.
Feeling fantastic today! The healing process is very satisfying.
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement.

Hey Greg! Thanks for the reassurance as always.
It's still too swollen down there to know exactly where it is and how the mechanics work but based on how the healing process is going so far I will be cycling in no time!
I like perfect :)

Genesis, Looks like we were implanted the exact same time (Friday March 9th around 10 am). Hope all is well. I stayed overnight with a foley but didn't have the drain thing. My balls have swelled up to the size of a baseball but not real sore. Pain in manageable today. Yesterday there was some sharp pain with certain movements. I cannot sleep on my side yet.

My temperature got warmer right away. Im just warm right now, not burning up.
Taking my anti biotics as instructed.
How worried should I be?

Edit. Talked to the on call doctor and he assured me everything sounds normal, the liquid getting clearer is actually a good sign, and the elevated temp is just part of the healing process.
Signs to look for include a temp of 101 or greater for an extended amount of time, blood in urine, visibly seeing the prosthesis, and discharge from the incision site, all of which Im clear of.

Genesis;
I lost my first implant due to septic shock. If your temp gets above 101, get to medical attention IMMEDIATELY (ambulance not necessary). :)

Postra! I replied in your 1 week till surgery thread but never heard back from you. We were being worked on at the very same time. Bionic Twins!
My balls are roughly baseball sized too. Still waiting on this home healthcare nurse to get here to remove the drain.
I would love to hear more about your experience and how it compares to mine, consider making a implant journal of your own.
What implant did you get, what size, pump location, aftercare instructions, ect.
I believe it can be helpful to potential implantees even if you feel like it's all been said before.
Keep me updated on your journey!

Larry! How is your healing progressing along? I haven't heard from you in a minute.
The reason I am being some vigilant about avoiding infection is because of your story of warning and others. Having to get the implant removed and finally replaced at a later date would be heartbreaking.
How long from when had fever symptoms did you make it to the ER?

Well, it wasn't that simple... one minute I would have a low grade temp (100 - 101) and the next I would be fine. I was having some sniffles at the same time so I thought it was just a cold. Then my wife told me that I was hallucinating. I was drink from a coffee cup but my hands were empty. I was carrying on conversations with nobody. So I had a follow up appointment with my local urologist (my surgeon was 7 hours away). I told my local doctor and he said GET BACK TO LONDON NOW!!! I called Dr. Brock's office late Tuesday afternoon and had an appointment for Thursday morning. I was in doctor Brock's office for less than 20 minutes and I was booked for emergency surgery. There was really no point in going to emergency (as long as the symptoms didn't get worse) because this hick town would have no idea what to do with a penile implant. :)

Damn, didn't realize you were hallucinating and stuff. That must have been a very confusing time and I understand not wanting to go to just any hospital when they might have no idea how remove an implant ect.
Glad you are whole again brother.

Didn't mean to generalize so much regarding any loss of size.
I went in expecting to lose up to an inch and was ready to accept that.
My surgeon was good with dispelling any hype i.e. it's not going to make my dick bigger or in most cases it won't.
Yes there are some vocal advocates on here that have gained it all back or more, but that is not the norm.
That's why I felt it was or is important to keep a level head on expectations.
I'd hate to have someone who wasn't ready for an implant to make the decision because they think their dick will be exactly the same as it was before ED.
After a year of aggressive cycling yes maybe me you and all of us will be our original size.
In terms of just after surgery that isn't typically the case.

Just my 2 cents :]

Glad you are healing Genesis. It's a heck of a road but you've made it through the toughest part!
