Newly Implanted here.
Injections didn’t work out for me. I do get sensations just flirting with the wife, or checking out some attractive gal, or just touching my cock.
Loving it.
Only had one massive orgasm so far, still babying my pecker.

I think we're all biased toward natural, blood-filled erections, and we assume they have superior sensation.
But I suspect the reality is more subtle. Once the blood is in the penis, is there really that much difference? It's a hydraulic system either way, whether there is blood or saline involved. The quality of sensation probably mostly comes from the nerves interacting with the hydraulic erection, and of course the degree to which the glans is engorged.
I have a malleable and it doesn't feel physiologic at all
Blood erections are warm and dynamic. Although the IPP will better simulate that response it still won't be warm and dynamic. No pulsation or feeling of life.
But I think you are right that the nerves are the most important aspect

Re: Implant vs Injection / natural Sensation
I was on pills for over 10 years with increasing doses and diminished results over said period. I started injecting and discovered it worked well but was completely inconsistent with me. I had to increase dose about every month and was constantly fighting the not enough and then too much issues that I continued for 16 months on injections. As far as sensation goes I was loosing sensation gradually over the last many years prior to implant which I assume is due to the wear and tear of too much pde5 drugs and then later with near priapism many times during the 16 months of injections. For 3 months prior to implant I used a VED twice daily trying to stretch everything out to max before implant which I’m sure diminished my sensation. Then after surgery you most likely will have some more diminished sensation for a few months maybe even close to a year. Since my one year implant time and when I quit inflating twice daily my dick seems to be very gradually regaining some lost sensation. It’s been a little over 3 years now and I’m able to climax every time in the last year and a half and rarely have any issues.
I really think that a lot of my anorgasmia was due to the mental struggle of ED and never being sure if it would work properly and the long term effects of this. Maybe it’s just settled in my brain the last year and a half that it’s going to work no matter what and I am able to totally relax and let things happen! Either way I’m much more happy with all things to do with my implant! Probably because I had almost nothing to loose! My only regret is having waited so long and struggle so long with ED that it almost destroyed my now 39 year marriage! We are going stronger than ever and I have to give some credit to my implant!
