I also have the AMS MS pump. For the first few weeks the pump and my right nut seemed to hate each other! I took naproxen twice daily and that helped the irritation. Make sure your Dr approves this first. I’m now about 9 weeks post op and having no issues with the pump. You likely still have some swelling which will also subside soon. Follow your Drs instructions and you should be fine.
Patience is your friend! Congrats and good luck.

Hey guys, sorry I've been busy, so haven't posted in a while. Today is day 12 post op. Today has been the first day, where I've had pretty much "no" pain and feeling more or less back to normal "down there". I took 2 tylenol this morning, but that was it. No ice. I even wore my standard "tighty whitey" underwear under a pair of shorts. Swelling is gone, bruising is almost all gone. I have a few little "pins and needles" pains here and there on occasion, but that's it.
I do notice, some numbness on my lower right abdomen, and also the top of my scrotum, just above the incision point. I assume that feeling will take some time to come back.
Anyway, feeling pretty good today, I can even lay on my side in bed or on the couch without a pillow between my legs.
So getting better with each day. I see my Dr. for 2 week checkup on Tuesday afternoon

Hey guys, at day 16 today. I had my two week follow up on Monday. Everything looked great. I have had a bit of an erection for the last two weeks and it's been fairly uncomfortable. Dr. checked it out and my tubes did backfill a bit. He pushed the drain valve and squeezed my penis, and drained it out. Felt much better. I do notice right now that I do get some back fill daily. My swelling is down enough, he told me to go ahead and push the drain valve and just squeeze my penis back down to a comfortable level.
I have been OK'd to stop using bacatracin on my incisions, and haven't iced now in days. I took 3 tylenol today, otherwise, I am feeling really good. Some little aches, pains and little zingers here and there still, but otherwise feeling good. All swelling is gone. I can feel the bulb very well, an I can feel the release valve easily too now. I can also feel the fully deflated tubes in my shaft after I drain them down.
So, everything going well. Still can't take a bath yet, an my final checkup, in which I'll be activated to pump is 4 weeks away yet.

Thanks continue to go well. Healing up and feeling better with each passing day. I have been moving and pull down on my pump daily, however, I find that it seems to almost attach to my scrotum wall fairly quickly. I keep moving it, but it seems the next day its reattached itself to the base. I think I am just going to let it "do its thing"...doesn't bother me and doesn't hurt. Placement is good when its down there. So I think I am just going to let it ride.
