The surgery carries a 1% risk of infection. So the risk that you will need surgery, and that the surgery will result in an infection is 0.2 x 0.01 = 0.002. Meaning that out of 1,000 guys in your position, 2 would be expected to end up with an infection. Even if what you found in your research, that it's a 50% risk draining won't solve the issue, it's only 5 guys of out the 1,000 in your situation that would eventually end up with an infection.

Statistics may be a week comfort when you're worried about something going on in your body, but most likely, this will be resolved without complications.

I wish you a quick and successful resolution.

Oh yeah, stats are on my side. I’m not as worried about infection, as I am about the implant getting damaged and needing a revision as part of the surgery. That would reset the entire recovery only three months after surgery, have the potential to change the look and function of the implanted penis, and would be very depressing.

Me too am afraid to have to go through the whole ordeal once more. I am not able to cycle, it's now 10 weeks post op.
If you have any idea check my post Pump issues.

Thanks! I’ll take a look at your post.
