Mine needs around 20 pumps and I pump it up fully before foreplay so it is ready to go, I tried to do it in steps but this did not work for her at all, because when she is ready she dont want the break to give it more pumps and the hornyness easily collapse. It makes the whole session less natural and reminds more on the fact of artificial erection.
One other issue is when you pump in different steps I experience the latest pumps are more hard and difficult to achieve than if you pump in one straight try.
