I do feel like, even though she won’t read this, I need to give a shout out to my wife.

We are in the process of divorcing. It’s amicable, and there has been no cheating or other betrayal, we just grew in different directions and no longer share enough in common to stay together - a mutual decision. We part as close friends and still say “I love you” to each other.

In spite of our split, she has acted as my driver and caretaker through this process. She took a week off from work, left her house to come stay at my new place (only a few mikes away) for the first couple of nights, and will stay here during the day after those first nights to help me though.

All of this knowing she’s not going to benefit from this surgery, and is essentially setting me up for satisfying sex with other women. A very selfless act which I truly appreciate.
