I am so sorry you are looking at the prospect of more surgery, but the reports are clearly that the second time is much easier. What is an "auxetic cut"?
It is what it is; but, yeah, two biggest complaints about the LGX: loss of girth and infirm base.
“Auxetic cuts”? Similar to TEP (Tunical Expansion Procedure) but supposedly better. If you do a search of this board, there’s a discussion about it—someone here has already had the procedure done.
My only concern about revision is the potential for length loss, but I’m hoping the use of a VED combined with the surgeon’s skill will negate this. Yes, I’ve also heard that revision surgery is nowhere near as bad as the initial.
Would you happen to know if it’s safe to use a VED with the implant?
My surgeon has allowed me to use a VED both before and after getting an implant. It was a few weeks after surgery when he allowed me to use one, and it was without limitations. I have no certain way of knowing, but I accredit the VED use to my getting back all that I lost, plus a little more (over an inch of length).
Well, that’s encouraging. Thanks for this!
