Thanks for the reply. I've never heard of "multiple revisions" to an implant. The most is 1 revision which means that a 2nd revision (due to infection for example) is not recommended, will end in failure and render the penis unable to receive an implant. This is what my ex-uro who's also an implanter told me.compared to that of an ipp . which a full recovery can take 6 months to a year[!quote]
So according to my research, an implant usually takes 6 weeks for full recovery before using it for sex, not a year. Where are you getting all this from?? I'm highly confused!!
.
.
try reading post from members on this site . one member had 4 ipp in 3 years . Others have the first implant and , another, the 1st revision and some a third ,the second revision . And members themselves have reported it has taken 6 months or more to get back to normal , others have had better luck and recovered quicker.
those are facts . Apparently it hurts your sensitivities, But try using the search feature . its your friend .
ok its 4 ipp's in 4 years .
from the drivers account ; After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets
so far.
this member , had his ipp for 6 months and needed to be cut open again .
i removed his name as he might not appreciate being brought into this discussion.
revision at 6 months, possible cylinder herniation or erosion

"Hi all, I'm in my 30's and six months out from getting a coloplast. I'm probably going to need a revision and honestly I'm disappointed and a little down. If someone has been in a similar situation, can you talk me through it?."
ipps and malleables both have separate advantages and disadvantages .
but in my opinion something that malfunctions on a regular basis does not qualify
as a superior alternative . but whatever floats your boat .
