Hello, Currents 8.3/4 length and 5.75 to 6 girth. Ams cx 700 24cm with 2 2 rt extenders. If i measure up against flesh its 7.25 length.

I'm a year out or so with my 2nd Rigicon MMP I'm about 6 long and about 3-1/2 to 4 dia ..can't say how much different that is from pre-op since I had a stroke 2 years before my 1st implant of 6-2023 and never had an erection of any type for over 2 years.

Considering implant after 10+ years of dealing with ED. Taking max dose of viagra and cialis. Sounds like most people with implants are losing length and girth. Correct me if I’m wrong. Did anyone use VED prior to surgery and did it make a difference?

Yes I did and I believe that daily, rigorous VED use made a difference for me. Pre ED I was roughly 6 inches erect, maybe a little over. not bone pressed. Girth I never really measured. On the previous page of this topic you can see my results after 5 months or so. I seem to have regained what I lost and possibly a bit more. Post RRP for prostate cancer I started using a VED daily for both penile rehab and sex, after pills, Trimix injections and other treatments failed dismally. So probably for 12 to 18 months or more pre implant. And I was very aggressive with it.

The problem is that I can't compare those results with what might have happened if I had chosen not to use a VED. Based on what I had read on FT, and after discussing it with my surgeon, who supported my pre op VED use, it seemed like a good idea and could possibly help regain size lost from both my prostatectomy and fibrosis from Trimix injections. So far it seems to have worked for me, but that is in addition to very aggressive regular cycling from 6 weeks post op. I actually think that cycling probably does a lot of the heavy lifting to regain size, but pre op VED use allows implantation of the largest cylinders that your anatomy can take.

Let me say that I think it is very common to lose length and girth initially post op, regardless of any pre op regime. Many, if not most, seem to regain it over time, and the length of time to a final result appears to vary enormously. Many see original size return after 3 to 6 months but some guys have reported good results only after a year or longer. I don't think anyone can accurately predict likely outcome. And yes there are a few who permanently lose size due to a variety of different causes. Often they are still happy with their results because they can now get a reliable erection on demand.

I posted this as a reply to Frank in another topic. For completeness I'll repeat it here:

Taken during a 1 hour aggressive cycling session, so these will be my current "best" measurements.
Note that I have some multiplanar curving post op (dick bends right and up) which makes measuring awkward, so I've measured from different positions.
These are fully bone pressed using an accurate tape measure, so it's the absolute maximum I can get:
Erect length longest side = 193 mm (7.7 inches - realistically I'm not that big for practical purposes)
Erect length from above = 175 mm (6.8 inches)
Flaccid length from above 162 mm (6.4 inches)
Girth = 130 mm (5.2 inches)
Relaxed flaccid length (i.e. not bone pressed) = 132 mm (5.3 inches)
Those numbers suggest that I have exceeded my pre prostatectomy/ED size.

To be accurate and comparable to other honest measurements, a hard ruler, rather than a tape measure, must be used on top of your dick, pressed into your fat pad. The tape measure is for girth measurements only.

Thanks. I tried that but was finding it painful from the edges digging in, and you also need to cut a bit off the end of the ruler to be accurate.
But the main reason I went with the tape measure is due to the severity of the bending I seem to have acquired. Something I'll follow up with my surgeon in a few weeks. I did try modifying a softer, more flexible ruler but it was only marginally better. I might give that another go when I'm further along and see what happens.

That said, I'm not in competition with anyone and I've been very clear about how I arrived at my measurements. I shared them here only for interest and to monitor my own progress. The OP didn't specify any "rules" or parameters that had to be applied, and I couldn't care less who has the biggest dick. It isn't me in any case.

6-7/8 length and 6-3/4 girth at base. 6-1/2 girth mid shaft to tip.
Best I can remember from previous measurements I’m same length and slightly larger girth than any time in pre implant life by about a 1/4”. I used injections twice weekly the last 16 months prior to implant and started using a VED pretty aggressively for about 4 months twice daily prior to surgery. Totally happy with my IPP!

I think most people report an initial length loss, that generally recovers to original pre-op size over 3-12 months as the surgical capsule stretches, provided there is aggressive cycling during that period to facilitate the stretch.

For girth it’s all over the map, some report increase, some decrease, some no real change. Everybody has different anatomy and tissues, plus different implant types, so these things are highly variable.
