“Sensations should not be impacted....” our doctor buddies sure are clever with their choice of words, aren’t they? The truth is, even with use of retractors, dorsal nerves or NV bundle can experience trauma in sensitive individuals. I got a subcoronal incision and experiencing delayed orgasm and sometimes no orgasm (3 out of 5 times) with PIV. Of course I didn't experiment with different Vs ;) . Scar tissues can also entrap some nerve endings. A second opinion is still the wiser choice, Osprey. The first doctor may avoid full transparency out of fear of malpractice liability.

Have you tried using a toy masturbator, something more realistic like the Meiki ZXY or the plain jane Fleshlight? These toys offer more stimulation and better control over thrusting speed, which can really help when trying to orgasm. I’m a sex addict, and my wife can’t always keep up. These toys have been a lifesaver for me and they keep me grounded and sane as I can reliably orgasm with them. If you’re able to climax with them for now, that peace of mind can go a long way. For some, it may take 1-2 years for everything to settle and for nerve regeneration to fully occur.

Last hope, how do you feel about your malleable? Would you still take it over an inflatable?

Hey Discovernew, I'm having very mixed feelings to be honest. If my health insurance changes and starts covering revisions, I'm considering a switch to an IPP. I'm curious whether it might enhance my sensitivity, possibly due to a more relaxed state of the corpora cavernosa and a fuller girth, which might provide better PIV stimulation.

My experience with the malleable was affected by the choice of a subcoronal incision on an uncircumcised penis, which led to a prolonged period of foreskin lymphedema.

I also experienced reduction in PIV sensitivity.

I do appreciate the ability to have sex or masturbate for longer periods, but I also miss being able to enjoy quickies.

LastHope, I only have one data point, which is that I experience more sensitivity when inflated at 85-95% compared to being inflated at 100%.
Also my wife likes 85-95% as it works better with her contours inside.

Fair comparison...But when the idea of ipps mechanical malfunction creeps in do you still get very mixed feelings ?

Also i've yet to see someone who switched from mpp to an ipp and reported better sensitivity..actually I've seen the opposite..what's your take on this ?

Thank you Chuck for sharing this. It might just be the silver bullet for my sensitivity complaints.

I agree TooYoung. I'm also all about reliability. But a reliable car with no soul (PIV anorgasmia in my special case) can still be frustrating. Some say never own a BMW outside of manufacturer's full warranty. I drive a Toyota now and it doesn't hurt to lease a BMW once to get an experience. That’s why I won’t dive into this IPP hobby until I get solid insurance through work that will cover revisions.

I'm sorry man...I'm sure it's very frustrating.

I have no feeling in my frenulum. I notice his subcoronal incision goes right underneath of it.

Why?
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. Surgery scheduled for Coloplast Genesis 5/19/25
