Had my revision on Wednesday, AMS700 implanted in place of the Rigicon, which I am told they no longer use, have to wait and see now if it is any better, fingers crossed.
Onset of ED at age 46, no erection since, pills, VED , Injections, no luck, not even once.
Implanted 19.04.2023 in UK, with Rigicon Infla 10 AX, not functioning.
Had revision 24/09/25 Rigicon removed and AMS700 implanted.

niall4473, congrats on a successful procedure, hope the recovery is smooth, and we'll be anxious to hear how it goes with the AMS700. Which model did you get ? And which pump ?

According to the little booklet I got with it, the device is an AMS700 CX, with MS pump and 100ml spherical reservoir

For anyone interested, I can report that the pain, bruising and swelling are as nothing compared to the first time, I knocked off the painkillers at 36 hours post-op because I just didn't need them, pain is a 1/2 compared to an 8 last time, at the moment very optimistic of a speedy recovery.

Congrats on your revision. You said the hospital no longer use the Rigicon implant. Is this at Manchester Royal infirmary again? They've told me they discontinued using the previous Rigicon model and started again with the new Rigicon model.
Mid 30s. UK. ED since mid teens. Done the pills, injections, P Shot, Gainswave, ESWT shockwave.

Now preparing to take the plunge under care of Professor Ralph at UCLH. Planning on a Rigicon Infla10 AX with Pulse pump.

Yes, MRI, as I have said, they removed my Rigicon and replaced it with an AMS700CX, I did ask whether they could not just replace the pump with the newer version, I was told no, as this would not be an approved procedure and that they no longer implant the Rigicon at all, that was in May, and the statement about no longer implanting Rigicon was repeated prior to my op last week.

That's interesting.... I was emailing the department over the summer who told me that they'd started implanting Rigicon again with the new model.

Would you be comfortable saying which surgeon you saw?

"Would you be comfortable saying which surgeon you saw?"

Professor Modgil, and I really cannot recommend him highly enough.

I'll have to check in with them again about the Rigicon. I thought it was available with them again.
