This is an interesting topic. So some people have a flat or oval erection when pumping unaroused.. it is odd some mention it and others do not.
It is particularly concerning when my biggest issue is lack of arousal due to antidepressant usage. I really do not want to have this side effect.

So if I have a hard time getting aroused due to pssd from antidepressants will I have the small head and flat appearance? Or can I still take low dose cialis to fix this?

Hi,
I didn’t lose any length on Day one but some girth. That said, if I take Viagra my girth is close to what it was and I’m hard for an hour.
I recommend both the LeLuv pump on E-Bay and the Bathmate. Pumping in the shower is great because it becomes part of your daily routine.
Personally, I don’t understand how a penis can grow significantly longer after implant since you would be longer than the implant and then have floppy glans.
Also, you will forget you have the implant. The tubing is only noticeable to the touch if you have zero engorgement. The pump is not noticeably visible but feels like a third testicle.

Have you had you consult yet mate?
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped

Markc2008 wrote:So I am right on that edge from going ahead and getting the surgery done. I’m 42 years old and have pssd. I do still have some function with injections and higher doses of pills, however, the pills are now inconsistent and causing very chronic sinus infections. The injections do work but it is really hard to be spontaneous with them. It is honestly really hard to be spontaneous with either being that it takes such high doses of the pills. So with that being said I am really looking hard at the surgery still. I do have a few things I hoped I could get some reassurance on:
1) is floppy glans very common? The last thing I would want is to take the plunge with some remaining function to have this. I plan to use Clavelle so is this just something where experience matters?
2) Cold to the touch.. with less blood there does the penis feel cold or foreign?
3)the lines or hoses.. do they protrude out giving the penis an unnatural look? I am married and my wife is supportive but I want her to be able to forget I even have an implant when I’m healed. I don’t want it to look fake.
4)size.. I know everyone is concerned about this and it comes up alot but with part of my pssd I have hard flaccid. With pde5s etc I can get it to loosen up but I’m worried the dr will see it in its hard flaccid state and undersize me or not stretch it enough. Also, what is the general cycling consensus on time to cycle back to original size?
5) engorging.. Will my head engorge or will I still have to take pills on top of having the surgery for it to look like a normal hard penis?
That’s all I can think of. I’m wanting to do it, but I also don’t want to regret it or worse off my wife to. Having a floppy head or losing an inch of length etc would all put me in that boat. I know we see a lot of people come back with issues on the forums and the ones that go smoothly not as much, but I’d really love some feedback. I just want to be. Normal again.. it’s draining worrying about this all of the time and it has not been good for my mental health or confidence.
Floppy Glans.
It is uncommon, with a good surgen you should not have issues
Cold to touch
I would not say cold to touch but slightly colder, never been an issue.
Lines and hoses and pump.
If you try to find them, you will find them, but once inflated they are not felt.
Size.
I did not loose length, i gained length because i had a banana shaped penis, I did loose girth because i had a beer can of a penis before, and the doctor told me about it, the implants just don’t expand enough in girth to accommodate me and in the end my girth would be my natural tissue plus the rods, when I am aroused and close to comming I do get almost as thick I had before, at first I was kinda disappointed, because before it was really a sledgehammer what I had, but hey it was not working well anymore, I quickly forgot about it when I had a penis that would stay up for ever and I could just focus on having fun with it

Engorging
Like I said before if you engorge now you will engorge with the implant, I do.
Good luck
ED Since early 40's used injections for 1 year, at 55 got implanted by Perito April 19/2023, Titan 24 + 2 rte's
Before. 6.75 lenght 6.5 girth
After 7. Length 5.25 girth

Re: Scheduled a consult but still have some uneasiness about a few things
As others have said, the Dr has control over most of the issues your concerned about. With experience and proper sizing and proper placement of tubing and all the hardware it is not an issue. After a few months you should have as much engorgement as before. I do tend to be cold when it’s cold but I really think it was that way before implant. As soon as things get going it is normal as it can be except it’s always as hard as I want it when I want it. If what I’ve read about Clavell is true, he should be able to place a properly sized implant and properly place the tubing and pump so that it’s minimally noticeable. I’m happy with what I have just over 3 years now but when I do eventually need a revision I will be making the 7 hour drive to Clavell
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong

Mark
I had my consult three weeks ago and have my surgery in five days.
Seems as you have been doing your homework so that is going to make it a smooth consult. I left there nervous as hell but optimistic it will be better than it is now.
You will more than likely be having a Doppler Test so make sure you know what that does so you are ready psychologically.
