12 weeks post-op:
- cycling and PIV sex are now mostly minor discomfort instead of pain, and getting better all the time
- minor pain in scrotum comes from a small remaining spot of capsule adhesion at the pump bulb -- about 1/8" diameter
'Pump stuck to scrotum ?"
https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26234- as described previously, I had a large hematoma in my scrotum, and I'm investigating how to verify it's all gone
- the deflate function of the Tenacio pump seems iffy -- doesn't do "press once" -- have to press and hold -- sometimes more than once
- on the plus side, the Tenacio pumps up very quickly compared to most of what I've read in the forum
- discoloration continues to fade
- pump often makes me feel like I'm sitting on something - I think that's a permanent thing
Final thoughts for the journal. There are no guarantees in life ( besides death and taxes

), but we know that overall implants have a very high satisfaction rating -- which I interpret as success in restoring the ability to have sex. As others have described in this forum, its not perfect, and things can go wrong. But, they've been doing this for decades, and perform 20,000 to 30,000 implants annually. If implants didn't have a high success ratio I think that would be evident by now.
I'm 4 months post-op and it has been a godsend for my wife and I. My recovery was unusually rough, and more than once thought "what on earth did I let them do to me". But now, I would choose to do it over and over again after experiencing what's on the other side

. I'm not crazy about living with a pump in my scrotum. But, its a small price to pay for an on-demand, reliable, non-stop, worry-free, hard erection that really is next level stuff

Thanks to all who have offered information, support, and often a good dose of humor and good feelings
