Its not a significant change - but...I have noticed that I keep my feet slightly more apart. I'm very cognizant about how I walk after some major back surgery that corrected some congenital issues that REALLY changed how I walked (i.e. wear patterns in shoes are drastically different since then). So post surgery I do keep my legs slightly more apart - maybe an inch or so. I also tend to sleep on my side, and when I do I pull my testicles through my legs forward to keep the pump from being stuck between my testies. Just minor adjustments.

Days 19 thru 25 post-op

- swelling is down about 80% since surgery, Ice continues to feel good
- just taking OTC meds for Dr appointments
- discoloration continues going away, but has oddly worked its way down my inner thighs past my knees on both sides ??
- biggest source of pain continues to be the bottom of my scrotum where the pump is resting - but the level of pain continues going down as swelling decreases - much easier to get in and out of bed and chairs
- Dr said he left me inflated at 80%, but now that swelling has gone down it seems more like 70%
- scheduled for Dr appointment at week 7 to start cycling
- scrotum still hurts enough that I can't imagine digging around for the pump to do cycling - counting on that to change

Days 26 thru 33 post-op:

The past week has been about the same as the week before. Swelling continues to go down, discoloration continues to clear up, but unfortunately most of the remaining pain still comes from the bottom of my scrotum where the pump is resting and/or rubbing when I move around.

7 weeks post-op:

- this has been the big week - "activated" on Monday - now cycling, PIV sex, and can be physically active again
- cycling involves 4 out of 10 pain from scrotum friction while pumping, and, 1 out of 10 pain in shaft and glans
- having PIV sex is amazing again, expect a little pain for awhile, wife has been incredibly supportive & is now a huge fan !
- almost as amazing is not having to worry or rush due to ED - because now I stay hard as long as I want - and that makes sex so much better and great confidence

- big discovery - the rough pain at the bottom of the scrotum where the pump sat was caused by the capsule around the pump adhering to the inside of the scrotum, and, it broke lose after pumping up at home - now no more pain from that
'Pump stuck to scrotum ?" https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26234
- the "penis part" of my procedure went well, but the "scrotum part" of the procedure was complicated by hematoma, and edema (painful to put pressure on) that ran down both legs past my knees. At 2 months post-op there's still some hematoma in my scrotum, which makes manipulating the pump more difficult.

- swelling is down about 90+%
- but, still some swelling at base of shaft which makes either up or down position a little challenging for clothing
- discoloration almost gone
- much easier to sit down - but pump still makes me feel like I'm sitting on something - have to lift scrotum for best comfort

12 weeks post-op:

- cycling and PIV sex are now mostly minor discomfort instead of pain, and getting better all the time
- minor pain in scrotum comes from a small remaining spot of capsule adhesion at the pump bulb -- about 1/8" diameter
'Pump stuck to scrotum ?" https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26234
- as described previously, I had a large hematoma in my scrotum, and I'm investigating how to verify it's all gone
- the deflate function of the Tenacio pump seems iffy -- doesn't do "press once" -- have to press and hold -- sometimes more than once
- on the plus side, the Tenacio pumps up very quickly compared to most of what I've read in the forum
- discoloration continues to fade
- pump often makes me feel like I'm sitting on something - I think that's a permanent thing

Final thoughts for the journal. There are no guarantees in life ( besides death and taxes :) ), but we know that overall implants have a very high satisfaction rating -- which I interpret as success in restoring the ability to have sex. As others have described in this forum, its not perfect, and things can go wrong. But, they've been doing this for decades, and perform 20,000 to 30,000 implants annually. If implants didn't have a high success ratio I think that would be evident by now.

I'm 4 months post-op and it has been a godsend for my wife and I. My recovery was unusually rough, and more than once thought "what on earth did I let them do to me". But now, I would choose to do it over and over again after experiencing what's on the other side :). I'm not crazy about living with a pump in my scrotum. But, its a small price to pay for an on-demand, reliable, non-stop, worry-free, hard erection that really is next level stuff :)

Thanks to all who have offered information, support, and often a good dose of humor and good feelings :)
