Frank

I have had no problems with getting an erection before the implant. I had Peyronies with fibroses (dents) and some nodules on the shaft. Thats when I ended up for an implant.

Eid fixed it all....

If i pump up 2/3rds of the way so my dog ears etc disappear,my glands get engorged . If i pump up to absolute max my glands don't engorge much and i'm cone shaped. It's almost as though the blood flow to the glands is cut off when fully pumped. My dick is far more natural looking 2/3rds pumped but i don't get the extra length and girth the cone oval shape of the maxed out dick gives me.

Can anyone tell me if taking 5mg Cialis daily is a common and well-known option for glans engorgement stuff after an implant? Like there's proof of it and all that and doctors often prescribe it?

I ask because I saw my new urologist for the first time after the one who did my surgery retired, and he said he hasn't heard of that and wouldn't recommend it for treatment.
Do all/any the well-known implant surgeons recommend this?

Hi -- I take it but don't really think it helps.

Curious if anyone else is using Misoprostal and, if so, how much is it helping?

thank you

A thread might be beneficial to many of us. In my case, my surgeon prescribes me 20mg of Sildenafil daily and approved my use of a cock ring. In combination it works fairly well. On the occasions I want the most intense feeling, I pop 60-80mg before we play, and that really works to engorge my glans and shaft. I do have some natural engorgement, but it varies from one sex session to the next. This was a problem for me prior to implant, so the surgery had no affect one way or the other.

Dr. had me try cialis 5mg daily but that did not help, also he had me try muse and that really worked great, but of course as soon as you find a solution you can know longer buy it. started to use ved and it works but to keep the engoragement you have to put a ring on.I got the trimix gel and it worked a little bit but of course it caused a lot of pain,so not using any more.i'm at dead end till muse comes back.

The first 8 months were disappointing. I was nervous about the natural shape of the implant, lack of orgasm and anxiety that my wife wouldn't (and she didn't at first) like it. This kept me from getting aroused and she thought they broke me. After learning the Perito exercise and experimenting with different medications and cock rings it's her favorite new toy lol.

I now have great engorgement of the entire penis. I had great engorgement before my implant though. My surgeon seems to have left alot of my original tissue which allows me to get a medium erection if I'm really aroused. After 14 months of cycling I pump 40 good pumps before the bulb is empty. My cock feeI get 6.5" x 6" length which is a little bigger than my original pre-op cock (per my wife). I use Cialis and a Xialla cock ring which works great. My retrograde orgasms (from stomach surgery) are getting real good too.

I tried Trimix Gel and it sort of worked but I seem to be allergic to some of the gel's ingredients. Haven't tried Muse or the cream as the VA is back ordered. I am investigating Misoprotole which my civilian urologist is willing got try.

Perseverance pays off

UPDATE: I finally got 200 mcg of Misoprostal properly injected, result not so good. Burned for awhile, then I got a decent engorgement but it didn't seem to last.

So I continued my quest. I had been wanting to try Levitra but Medicare doesn't cover ED meds, and it was crazy expensive. But turns out the patented Levitra brand was discontinued in the US at the end of last September which made the generic, Vardenafil "legal" at much cheaper prices, especially if you use a med discount card, like Good Rx. I have actually found it available at a local pharmacy at $8.50 for 10x20mg tablets -- 85 cents apiece! I tried one this morning and got very nice engorgement -- maybe not quite as big as with Trimix gel, but big enough and at about 2% of the cost!

Will appreciate hearing about others use of this med and additional ways of achieving engorgement.
thank you

"Misoprostal -- this is basically PGE like the gel ,but it comes in pill form -- 200mcg. So the process of preparing it for insertion into the urethra is a bit tricky. Essentially with an eye dropper put about 1ml of water -- sterilized or biostatic -- in a test tube -- then drop the pill in the water -- it dissolves pretty much on its own. You may have to add another 1ml of water to get a slurry suitable for injection in a Trimix gel type of snub nose injector. Then inject that into the urethra. A bit complex, yes but the good part is that the pills are about a buck or two each. I have so far just hacked around with it -- didn't have the proper "equipment" -- but seemed to be be working and now I have the equipment and will be giving it a serious try -- will post results in this thread"

Of course Trimix gel and Misoprostal require scripts -- my PC did both for me though he said he was going out on a limb with the Misoprostal...had to twist his arm. But I sent him this study and it helped with my request. https://patents.justia.com/patent/6589990

Thanks for the info. My Urologist is open to prescribing it at 200mcg. Please let me know how your experiment went.
