Why so many negative comments on IPPs on Medicine Net ?

I think on average the satisfaction rate among IPP user should be decent. It's almost half a century this kind of surgery is on the market. This speaks for itself.

Having said that I don't buy so easily the 90% satisfaction rate mostly for a couple of reasons. First it cames from the same kind of studies that say shock wawes (or PRP or whatever) are effective, secondly digging into data there is often a significant percentage of guys, usually in the 10-20% range, which refuse to give an answer or feedback.

While choosing a good surgeon is always important, my hope for the future is it will be less important. A good technology should give reliable results every time is performed by an average specialist on the field. One day Eid will ritire, or you may move to another country or you may have a sudden problem while your beloved urologist is on holiday. Many things may happen and better if they may solved not only by a couple of doctors around the world.
