I certainly disagree. is she there actively researching things? does she know the terms and concepts? if not then who cares what her opinion is. it is your body and thus your responsibility to seek the best possible outcome.
it's not like you're cheating on her. simply grab a flight somewhere with her, she won't have to drive or anything and get it done by the best of the best.
it's like going to go see the best team in your town when you could see the best team in the country.

I agree with you if a wife is not accepting the implant without any justifiable reasons, despite both of you know that your sex life is hit by ED. But if a wife is supporting and encouraging, there is no way to exclude her. She should be part of every thing you do. This is the kind of wife you don't want to lose at all.
