Number of surgeries is important to stay away for the ones who do a few a year. One a week is not a disqualifying factor to me or even 2 a month. The doctor has to have a real concern for your outcome. 2 a week and above should be good but you need to ask more questions. You need a doctor that has enough concern to stay up to date with current information on giving you the best out come.

Top question for me is dose the doctor do revisions. Revisions or replacements are more difficult for the doctor and not all do them. So this is very import and gives you an idea of the doctors skill level.

Second is activation time. Or how long before your doctor will have you start cycling. This paper show a relation of size loss pre vs. post op to longer activation times. https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... prosthesis So the doctors having you wait 8 weeks really accept that.

I'll definitely be asking about the revisions as well and replacements I see you next Friday so trying to gain as much knowledgeable questions that I can ask

Wow. I had to see 4 urologists till I found one who made me feel comfortable. My first one messed me up bad. Caused me all kinds of issues. 2 and 3 saw me and my peyronies condition and just said. Need a titan to fix that issue. When can we schedule it.

Mind you. Not one test yet. 4th doc finally did the tests to tell me I had a bad venous leak. I should never have been given viagra. I broke my dick trying to have sex with a semi. My options were limited right after my fall but back to doc 1. You are just old. Falling on your nuts would not cause ed.

4th doc finally tested my testosterone. I did not have any. I tested at 35. You want a minimum of 300.

A lot of issues so I Let 4th doc put a titan in. All was great. Past posts describe that. Damn. Then a hernia. After hernia surgery titan was dead and pain.

Got a new urologist and went local due to problems with implant and hernia and issues I needed to fix it all. New uro pulled out the titan and put in an ams 700. 4 hours in an or.

1 year now with my ams. All is good.

So long story short. Find a surgeon you like and wants to work with you. I got lucky.with my revision. He was not high volume but is an excellent surgeon. I am super happy.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

It is sometimes uncomfortable to ask questions like this. I e-mailed my surgeon and explained I was considering flying to the east coast to Eid or Kramer that I heard good things about. I told him I liked USC Keck medicine and the care at the hospital was great. He e -mailed me back that he was on track to do 150to 200 that year and he had been second on over 300 in the past 2 years with Dr Boyd a well known surgeon who has specialized in implants for the last 30 years.
