Ultrasound shows good blood flow (I assume this is arterial inflow) and no leaks (this must be venous outflow). And you got a good erection with that trimix injection.

Does that 100% rule out ALL possible physical causes?

Can you get erections through masturbation or while you are asleep? (There are tests for "nocturnal penile tumescence" which generally bypasses all psychological causes of E.D.) If your urologist will not or cannot discuss potential causes or treatments with you further, find another for a second opinion.

ANY solution short of implant is better than an implant. I am thrilled with my implant, but the operation destroys pretty much all hope of ever finding an actual cure. Implant is a treatment. Not a cure. Get one only as a last resort of a desperate man.[/quote]

I never had good erections through masturbation or while asleep( sometimes rarely). Dont get morning wood as I would like it to be. I heard about Rigiscan but couldnt find a specialist who does those tests.. I agree with you sir. I want to exhaust all options before implant( I sometimes feel nature has stopped me for pursuing further and wanted me to explore other options). If I require it nature will give me that.

I buy my own insurance and it it the best BCBS plan I can buy in my state. It does have coverage for implant buy only for physical damage or illness. And it must have preapproval. I could get a lower cost plan but my max out of pocket would jump. Right now I pay over 14,000 a year for premiums and have a 4,500 max out of pocket. So 18,500 if it was for only for implant. My plan does not cover all the costs so it would be a bit more if that was all I had done in that year. But your other insurance would pick that up maybe. As said I could get a lower cost plan but out of pocket would go up and I think put it in the same ball park. And BCBS gets to restrict who I go to for the surgery. The lowest cost for them and not to a really good doctor who has an interest in the best outcome for me. So check for coverage area and if there is a very good doctor to do this in that area.

It has been a while since I did injections but I remember back 3 years ago or longer that there was a dry mix your own kit for travel. Not sure if it is still out there but if you are getting along with injections it might be worth looking into if you need to travel.

Just because it is not a circulation problem does not mean there is not damage. You may have nerve damage or problems from medication. Injections by pass the nerve part. So if you are getting the same partial nocturnal erections this could be a cause.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.
