AMS 700 LGX's 20% expansion : Myth or truth?

Can someone then explain Table 1 in this study? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5654325/

Specifically the measurement of the 21cm LGX at 0 psi being 21cm and the expanding in length at 10, 15, and 25 PSI. And the girth between the 21cm LGX and the 22cm Titan at 15 psi being almost the exact same. I do see a notable advantage in girth with the Titan 18cm.

I've wondered about the confict between the 2 theories. The only explanation that makes sense to me is by reading the AMS LGX installation instructions. It says when selecting the implant size. To subtract 4cm from the measurements of the penis. That would mean that the implant would be short by about the percentage that it could stretch.
But my reading seems to imply that a few years back. A new "agressive sizing" process was started. In essence it soulds like the subtraction of the 4cm is being ignored by many surgeons. Thus the implant is able to stretch in length to the limits of your genetics.
I think a few months back there was a post from a member that agreed that is how his surgeon measured him. No minus the 4cm.

So then the answer is true to the thread title question with a qualifier that this can only result in gaining lost size 1) if the surgeon does not subtract the amount of expansion from the measurement during surgery to make up for this and 2) only if your anatomy permits?

exactly, as newbie443 said, if the surgeon does not subtract the 4cm , in theory you should have +4 cm (or so on) when erect i think

You are not hearing the statement that actually I WAS before Peyronie's that long, so if the surgeon removes the scar tissue and grafts me, maybe i can reach my previous natural lenght. That's what i'm asking!
