OMG, Larry!!!! So glad you had 'that' result fixed and are done. I don't want to see a picture like that from my scheduled procedure next month. I guess if I wanted to continue this thread, I'd ask why someone took the pic during surgery in the first place?

77; ED at 50. Fired by 1st doc (Szobota - VA Uro) too many q's & contact w/ Coloplast rep. New doc: Ellen (VA Uro) implanted 11/8/18. 22cm Titan + 2cm RTEs; moron docs, product rep, intake/ dischg nurses! NEVER again! L- 6.75"; G- 5.5" oval.

Thanks for the clarification, Larry! Good for your wife! I just got the impression (mistakenly, obviously) that the pic was snapped during the surgery.

Holy shit! mine was not that bad, I likely would have gone off the deep end if it was.

I'd like to say that this thread has taken a difficult turn for someone who is scared about an implant.
I'm so sorry you had to deal with that, Larry, and glad your new doc has made a difference.
Arlorider: I'm probably having a "typical" experience. The pain is not too bad and it's amazing to be hard again, even if I can't do anything with it yet. I had never had a surgery before, either. The surgery itself was easy. Just fall asleep and wake up. I'm progressing very quickly and Dr. Karpman will activate me just 8 days after surgery. After that, I'll start moving toward normal function.
He's told me no sex for 3 weeks, though I think I'll still be tender at that point. But in a month or so to go from always flaccid to hard anytime will be incredible. I can already tell that it will feel like normal sex. My dick is hard, but the skin moves like it should, I already can feel some arousal, even though I'm not healed. Too early to give a final report by any means, but I think this is going to be wonderful.

I had sex at 3 weeks and I was still tender. It felt great but there were twinges of minor pain here and there.

Does dr Karpman do the scrotal incision or pubic incision? I had the pubic incision and a go ahead at 4 weeks but the inside of my dick was to tender to enjoy it.
