WEEK 2 - Update:

We’re at the 2 week mark now since I had my MPP surgery. Here’s where I stand:

Pain: things have improved immensely. I’m not even taking Tylenol at this point. I’m still experiencing urethra discomfort in various positions, and I definitely have general soreness and glans sensitivity. Sitting for long stretches is definitely still uncomfortable, and wearing pants is not a great time either  but I anticipate all of these things improving with time and also once I can bend the implant + add supportive boxer briefs. Overall, I’m doing good.

Sleep: sleep has gotten much better. I’m still trying to just sleep on my back to help while I’m getting the last of the swelling out of my system. I still get woken up from pain a few times a night, but nothing like a week ago. Last night, I slept on my side for a few brief stretches. Fell asleep instantly and felt amazing. I think I’m going to start reintroducing sleeping on my side, since most of the swelling is gone at this point.

Appearance: penis looks much much better than last week! Swelling is greatly reduced. Looks good to me in the mirror.

I think the main thing I’m curious about is going to be comfort in day to day life, ESPECIALLY sitting down. Right now, sitting down, I can really feel discomfort in my urethra and some pressure in my groin. Hoping this feeling gets better with time.

Best everyone - Johnny
