8 Months Update
Been a couple of months since I gave and update, so here we are. Not a lot to report gains wise, they've slowed down a LOT. I don't think it has anything to do with the tuncia or anything like that - just the limit of the implant itself. I do my exercises twice a day in the shower as normal. I did get the urethral gel injection to help with engorgement and I also can take 100mg cialis. The Cialis gives me a headache, but the gel? No thank you. It make my dick and whole crotch area ache like a mother for 1/2 a day. It worked nicely, but no. I'd rather deal with a headache.

With the cialis I'm a good 5.5" in thickness and I could feel like I could get more - if the blood didn't just run out. If I squeeze my penis while engorged, the engorgement goes away - so....I'm barely able to retain any engorgement - but it does look nice.

See pic for details.

Sex is good with the implant - I do have to say I don't need to worry about staying hard with a condom either - that is absolutely not a worry. Also being ready for "round 2" immediately after is nice!

I do REALLY miss my size but that has less to do with the implant and more to do with the Peyrones as a side effect from the RP.

Anyway - most guys who get to this stage don't lurk here much and just move on - but I plan to stick around for a while and continue to report my experiences. So far - no big news is good news.

DAMN, 100mg dose of Cialis is a lot.
I take 10mg daily mostly for BPH but I think it helps with engorgement.
I am still doing daily exercise/cycling also. On 5/1/2025 I encountered my first "flat bulb" while cycling. It has become more frequent recently. Flat bulb meaning I have used all the fluid from my reservoir. I don't think I have a system leak but we will see with time.
Implanted 9/12/2024 at age 67;
Vertical Penoscrotal approach with separate reservoir incision;
Dr Allen Morey, McKinney, Texas;
Coloplast Titan XL 26 cm base cylinder-no RTE, Genesis pump, 125 cc reservoir.

Yeah - it is a lot - but with the amount of 'damage' done during the RP and then with the implant + Peyrones I'll count myself lucky that I get ANY engorgement.

Cancer sucks.

100mg of Cialis?, you don't mean Viagra?. Normally the higher doses for Cialis is 20mg and Viagra 100mg.

Anyway I'm glad everything is going pretty good for you, thanks for coming back to update everyone. Unfortunately, I think that's one thing this forum lacks, is long term updates, we just seem to get an abundance of guys with issues here. I think a lot of the guys that have had great success and are happy just start to enjoy their implant and move on.

One of the frustrating things with how the forum is setup is that email alerts to people's posts are on by default, you have to go in manually and turn it on, so hardly anyone does that. I feel like if it was the other way we would get a lot of the guys coming back to answer questions when someone asked a question on the post
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped

Great journal. All the journals I read as I was considering implant helped. And a big thank you to the guys that took the step of baring it all and included pics. It helped to see dicks that looked great. My fear was that my dick would end up looking fake or artificial.

I’m not sure I would have taken the leap if I hadn’t seen all those journals.

So thanks!!!

Appreciate the kind words. I don't have as much "Down there" as I did before cancer, but at least I'm functional, and it looks decent. I'm not inflating any size reporting / measurements, and letting the pictures speak for themselves for good or ill. Am I absolutely thrilled with my implant? Heck no. Is it better than having a non-working dick? Heck yes. And thats kind of my point. I'm documenting my experience so others can see what someone like me goes through. I'm not representative of every person and cirumstance out there, but I think I'm a pretty good representation.

Likewise. In fact, I didn't know what I was going to go through until I had cancer and the topic of potentially removing a nerve and severe ED cropped up. Then I got scared and found FT.

Its not been a fun experience, but I'm still here - and functional. Thats the best outcome I could have hoped for and I'm glad my journal has helped you!

9 Month (and one week) Update

Sorry for not posting a week ago but I've been traveling for work.

Cycling remains the same, though I did realize I could spend a BIT more time on micro pumping which helped my length a bit. No soreness when doing so. I do wonder if I was possibly undersized a bit. I know I was a grower before surgery and I had a LOT of length I would expand by so - it's possible. I may ask the doctor about it. I am reaching about the 6" mark even on length now - and when I do use Cialis I get some plumping which helps with girth. Girth is remaining about 5.25 without cialis and 5.5 easy with cialis. However I seel feel like my dick could expand a lot more - if the cylinders could. I can grab the head of my cock and pull and I can feel it sliding away from the cylinders and can generally get another .5" to an 1" in length if I do.

Overall though, the comfort is nice - I don't even realize I have an implant these days - unless I'm messing with it and topping my husband of course. :lol:

The ability to STAY hard is really nice for sure. I do miss my old size and ability to ejaculate but most of that was due to cancer, not the implant.

Obligatory pic time and I'll compare with the last one...

Compare to Week 26

We can see I'm getting just a smidge of length and some girth increases. It's not phenominal, but it's noticable - I DO try to take the pics as close to each other as possible and line up physical landmarks.

Soon it'll be a year. Wow!

FINAL UPDATE --- 1 YEAR (plus a few days)

So here we are, a few days after the 1 year mark after getting my implant. It’s certainly been an experience, and while I’m glad I went for it, I’m also sad as to why. Cancer is a terrible disease and even if it doesn’t kill you, it can change your life in so many ways, and in my case, it was the treatment that led me to where I am today. My RP caused severe ED due to the removal of one of the main nerves allowing for erections, and also a bad cause of Peyrones, which lead to size loss and deformity. Hence needing the implant.

Now - onward to the more positive things about this journey.

I’m very grateful to be functional. I may not have as much sex as I did before, but I can at least function. I do have some mental hangups around all of this, but most of that has to do with self image and size loss than the implant itself. My surgeon was great, did everything he could and did and managed my expectations. While I didn’t gain back ALL my size from prior to implantation, and certainly nowhere near the size I had pre-cancer / RP, I am at least a good average size with respectable thickness, and the best part, I can get hard. Period. No hang ups or qualms about it at all. I have no real changes since my last posting on images so refer to those. I am about 6” in length, and a solid 5.5” in thickness.

My pump IS a bit more visible as its in front of my testies instead of behind, but its easy to find, so I’ll take function over form in this case. I’m definitely a shower now, and the pump DOES add size to the sack so there is that as well LOL.

Overall, I’m pleased with the implant and my experience, just not what led up to it. For all those of you who think your life is going to be roses and sunshine and perfect after an implant remember these things:

Implants do not give you more size than you have, they restore function.

Implants vary, be sure you research which one you are going to get and understand what it is and how it functions and any pitfalls / benefits of the model you chose BEFORE you go under the knife.

Initial pain after surgery SUCKS - be prepared for it, and its going to take a LONG time to heal. While the docs say you can be cleared for sex at 4 weeks, its not going to be pain free or lacking discomfort for a few months yet.

BE PATIENT - cycling will help you get your size back and do it every day!!!

Best of luck to everyone - I’ll still remain on here and read other people’s posts and provide feedback when I can - and if I ever run into problems I’ll update this thread.

Cheers all!
