I didn't realize that it's been months since I last updated this.
We've been busy lately, a trip interstate and another elsewhere so haven't had much time to collect my thoughts until now.
In summary all still goes well in general. I remain extremely happy with my decision to get implanted.
It has been many years since sex was this great and I now have total control over my erections

I no longer have any significant discomfort during vigorous PIV sex or aggressive cycling.
I now orgasm consistently from both sex and masturbation without any aids, but sometimes pop 25 mg Sildanefil if I want to feel extra horny.
There is no time limit on how long I can fuck, other than overall stamina and aerobic fitness.
On the downside I do have some post op curvature, although functionally it doesn't seem to have any significant drawbacks.
In fact it actually gives me some additional "fake" girth, which is giving my wife extra pleasure so I'll take it

And she is now more likely to instigate sex rather than wait for me to do it.
Residual numbness on the lower underside of my shaft continues to resolve and I now have sensation in places that previously had little to none.
Fingers crossed that will continue, but the most sensitive parts are fully functional and I can now climax much faster if I want (but I usually aim to make sex last as long as possible now as it feels fucking great

I recently had my 6 month post op review with my surgeon. He examined the curvature (I'd also sent him photos in advance).
His opinion is that it is PD due to scarring/fibrosis, which he had cleaned up during my implant procedure. He showed me the position on the shaft where he treated it. He believes the curve will resolve and straighten over time without further surgery, and has started me doing a variation of "Perito" style bending at the point of the bend to help break up the tissue. So far I'm seeing some small improvement; assuming it works I think it will take a while. I should note that I've always had some curvature plus an upward "banana" bend, it's just more exaggerated post implant. I have no other PD symptoms. I also asked about the residual numbness. He gave a detailed urological explanation related to the penoscrotal incision, which I've now mostly forgotten. The upshot is that full sensation should eventually return, and I'm already seeing evidence of that.
Pros at 6 months:
- Zero discomfort during any sexual activity or cycling (except cycling at 100% inflation for over an hour, but even that I can now push through).
- Orgasm 100% of the time from PIV sex or masturbation.
- Total control over erections in terms of how hard I want it and for how long.
- Sex is at least as good as before I had prostate surgery and resulting ED, and probably better as I can just keep going.
- My wife is enjoying sex again. I think partly because my confidence has been restored but also because I can fuck her properly.
- I'm fairly confident that my size is back to where I was per ED. It's difficult to measure accurately due to curvature but looks like what I remember.
- I'm only maybe a bit above average size and never really bothered measuring in the past. In any case my male ego has me continuing with the aggressive cycling to achieve whatever gains I can get and to help straighten my dick. Erect girth also seems about what I've always been.
- Flaccid remains much larger than I used to be and if anything girth looks fuller.
- At times I get spontaneous arousal with some engorgement, without any mental stimulation. That never happened once post RRP.
- I don't need to use pills or other aids but a small dose of Sildanefil (Viagra) can boost arousal slightly.
Cons at 6 months:
- Curvature due to PD as already discussed. Initial action plan implemented.
- Some residual numbness remains but significantly improved. Expected to resolve but no timeframe on when that might happen.
- I've started to get a bit of jock itch on my scrotum around the pump and deflate mechanism, I assume due to constantly operating the mechanism. But I have it under control with OTC cream.
That's about it I think. Despite the couple of remaining issues I'm ecstatic about how much difference the implant has made.
It has definitely been an absolute game changer and I'm hoping it continues that way.
Thank you to all FT members who have offered support and advice. I wasn't able to sign up until after I was implanted but had been reading the forums for months before I finally committed to the surgery. The information I found was key in making a decision.
