No, I haven't given it any hard knocks that I can remember but thank you for the suggestion.
I went to the hospital yesterday (160km away) and was scoped by my surgeon. There was no sign of infection in the urethra and no sign of erosion either. I was dreading the test because I had heard is was about the most painful thing that could be done while still conscious

But the severe pain in my groin continues, along with peritoneum and glans discomfort. Two theories by the doc. It is an infection or the reservoir has herniated. He gave me a prescription for a very powerful antibiotic, the theory being that if conditions improve it is an infection. If they don't we may be looking at a hernia and surgery to correct it. I'm hoping for a hernia because I won't lose the implant, but it will be what it will be.
I need stronger pain killers. I have Tramadol which takes a very long time to do anything and when they do, it's not much. I might have to go and see one of the local docs for something stronger if the medication doesn't start easing the pain in a day or two. So today it will be just resting, with one trip out to get the antibiotic.
Thanks to all who have offered your support! I will keep you up to date on my experiences.
