I got the AMS 700 LGX implant with the MS pump. Also I requested midline scrotal incision because of the lack of pubic hair, The scrotal approach is much smaller and heals faster, less tissue to cut through. Just my opinion.

I agree with everything that JereMC has said, ESPECIALLY the mid line scrotal approach. (the line in the middle of the scrotum). This way, you will basically not see the scar once it is healed.

I am on my second implant. First one was done infrapublically and the pump got stuck just below the penis and stuck straight out. It was MISERABLE and the doctor could not fix it without further surgery. I eventually contacted an infection not related to the implant and had to get it removed. Man was it a relief getting that nasty pump that was stuck in a pocket at the top of my scrotum.

Second implant was done mid line scrotal and was placed perfectly. On top of that, I had a turkey waddle (as it is called, lots of extra skin connecting from my scrotum to my penis) and the doctor was able to cut that away at the same time, giving me the appearance of a much larger penis. It hangs much more freely now and I have never been happier.

Provided Dr Garber accepts your insurance or you have the $20,000 - he would take you I am sure. Implants are his main order of business there. His office is just inside Philadelphia, at Chestnut Hill hospital. The surgery is done at Hahnemann which is in Center City - Philadelphia. My whole experience and treatment at both facilities was very friendly and professional. Dr Garber is very thorough however. He expects your sugars to be reasonably under control if you are diabetic. He'll ask you to be cleared by a cardiologist - and that your blood pressure is also under control. He does a thorough screening to ensure you don't have any infections as well. It seems like being a bit over cautious in my opinion, but in the end he has an extremely low rate of infection cases - and I'm guessing he hasn't lost anyone on the operating table.

He is a firm believer in the Titan OTR, and that is what he used on me - it was implanted infra pubic, which leaves a scar but from what I am reading is less painful than the scrotal approach. My woman is more than OK with a little scar anyway. And I'm fairly sure once my pubes grow back a bit it won't be very noticeable... and really, who is going to see it?

Anyway - According to a lot of testimony, he is able to preserve length rather well and has developed specific procedures to do so. The Titan OTR may also have a mechanical life to upwards of 18 years. Here's to hoping!

I'll let you all know the results once I'm activated fully, but I'm thinking it will be a positive result.

I'm scheduled for my implant this Monday morning. It was my urologist who had his ruler in hand determining what size was needed. Told him order an extra large....he just laughed
