Does anyone miss how their pre-op “taking a shit” used to feel?

This. As much as I love having a big flaccid now, toilet bowl rims are its natural enemy.
I've never been a fan of using public toilets. Now I avoid them as much as possible.

Same. I also try and sit as far back as I can for more forward clearance .

I'm with you there LGXDownunder, I try to avoid public toilets at all costs, but sometimes you just can't. I carry a travel pack of Clorox wipes in my hip pocket whenever I travel. I wipe the seat down, wait a few seconds for the chlorine to do its thing then sit. I'll do anything to protect my best buddy!

I did that at work for a while and was wondering why my butt was breaking out in a rash. Looked in the mirror and had a perfect toilet seat red rash on backside!lol! Too much chlorine was burning my butt!

Ouch! Never had that problem, but I always wait until the seat is completely dry before sitting. I just wish all public toilets had the paper liner you can put on the seat otherwise known as an ass gasket!
