Is it worth travelling to the US for surgery if you are in the UK?

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

I'm from the UK too, is there any reason you've opted to go private?

My implant was on the NHS, done at UCLH.. I recommend doing it here, any complications you can just come back.

Who did your surgery and how did it go?

Mine was Asif Muneer, he was quite good, clearly went above and beyond when I talked about my concerns of losing size considering I'm not exactly packing (just over 5.2), he let me choose AMS700 LGX to prevent size loss and he tried putting the biggest size possible. Saying that, he did ask if my surgery could be recorded for further training, I said yes with the hope he would be performing to the best of his ability which it seems he did so

I managed to regain size quite quick, I'm back to my original size but when I pump it to max it does start aching after 20-30 minutes.

It's been almost 11 months since surgery and the idea of being pumped up to the max and fucking all day still seems a long way away. However it's definitely the best decision I've made.

If I pump it to 85% (definitely hard enough for penetration l) I could stay hard for however long I want which is good.

It does feel good knowing you're always going to get it hard!!

I have had an absolutely fabulous experience with my implant surgery with my urologist/surgeon Dr. Asanad at USC Keck here in Los Angeles!!!

Those you mentioned are top of the notch but you dont have to travel that far, I can highly recommend dr. Beley in Paris.
As you are interested to go to the states I assume you pay out of pocket, you will be surprised about the cost difference as well.
Check my journey: 1st time sex with implant.
Good luck whatever you go for.
68 years old, good shape but 10 years struggle with VED, pills, needles.

Rigicon infla 10ax, 22(12+10) x12 + 1cm rte. Dr. Beley, Paris. 06.11.25

I no longer recommend traveling abroad if you have good surgeons in your own country and in the UK there are good surgeons.

Go to UCLH, do your research and ask for a specific consultant and get it free on the NHS. I would take a look at Wai Gin Lee. He seems very capable.

And for any issues you have access and get can revisions if required without fuss.
Mid 30s.

Implanted by Professor Ralph at UCLH on 1st April 2026 with Rigicon Infla10 AX 22cm + 1 RTE. Penuscrotal approach.

Revision by Hakky & Bugra in Istanbul October 2026 with Auxetic cuts and Rigicon Infla10 AX 24cm. Sub Coronal approach.
