I did follow his directions and did what I could and when I had my Followup he said I had done a good job.

You’ve got some good FrankTalk brothers here that have the same implant as you, so you’re in good hands.

I’ll help when I can on any topic.

Thanks, SWorks: Finding this site has been a Godsend - such a wealth of information and experiences, it has helped so many.
Day 9 post-op for me now. I can't complain as the pain and discomfort has been minimal. The next hurdle is cycling. I'm excited about that, but dreading it also. My ball sack is not that big. The pump seems to be rock hard with jelly like substance sticking to it. My mate, Kiwias, reassured me that this should disappear in the next couple of weeks. Then, just looking forward to having a sex life back again. I'm not expecting it to be exactly the same as I remember, but at least I will still have one. At 67, I'm not ready to give up on that aspect of life just yet!

Sure there has been tenderness and it's obviously a bit uncomfortable.
I'm at the stage now, where I have been advised to massage my penis/testicles and start pulling down on the pump to keep it low in the testicles. I have to be honest, I don't like prodding around my ball sack - It's always been a hallowed area, to be protected. I've never played with or touched my testicles much. I always had to guide her hands away if a woman was too rough or started squeezing them.
I've felt the pump and managed to give it a light pull. I haven't been able to feel the deflate bars - it's a Coloplast Titan. Other than that, I am very happy with the progress.

Congrats Steve :D. That is great progress this early. I have a different brand but from my experience and what I've read most of the pumps are stiff to operate initially. Mine definitely was, but the more I cycled, or otherwise pumped the implant, the more it softened. Initially I also found it a bit confronting to constantly play around with my ball sac. But the more I did it the more I got used to it. Now I look forward to pumping and I really enjoy the feeling and visuals of becoming hard and erect while I pump. You might find that if you can make peace with the idea of handling your balls, you may start to think of it as a positive. You are very unlikely to hurt anything and you'll become more confident operating the pump.

Thanks for that, LGX. That's very encouraging, particularly given you were also cautious about fumbling around with your testicles. Right now, I feel that there's a kind of membrane (jelly like) sticking to one side of the pump - I'm hoping that warm baths and gentle massage gets rid of it, which is good advice I have received from others in here, I'm presuming I get to start cycling at week 4, but we'll see.

Mission, you’ll be fine when you start cycling, just do what you can.
I went back in for device training at 6 weeks. They deflated me and then had me pump as much as I could. I could barely get in 10 pumps because everything was still hurting, my balls and my dick.
My docs protocol was to pump as much as I could twice a day in the shower for 20 minutes each time. Since the shower never took 20 minutes, I would shave with it still pumped up after my shower. At the beginning, I could barely see and 20 minutes because it would start hurting a lot the last couple minutes.
It gets better every day that you cycle, just do what you can.
Since we were empty nesters, I would also do extra cycling besides my docs protocol in a big tub of hot water three to four times a week while my wife did her morning walks.
I would pump to 70 percent and bend it up, down and side to side for 5 minutes, then I would pump up as much as I could and see how long I could go without crying Uncle from the pain.
Mission, check your surgery date install on your signature, I think it’s supposed to be January.

I hope your cycling goes well
