With the dentist and oral surgeon, I let them know that I checked "joint replacement" as "No", but that I have an implant "down there". And yes, I actually used the words "down there" and pointed. I could see by their reactions they knew what I was talking about, and both emphasized that the antibiotic was a good idea. I don't know if the hygienist, who was female, had any idea what I was talking about.
