I think I have no regrets. One hiccup I have is that I’m experiencing delayed climaxing during masturbation and am unable to climax during sex. My nerve healing is taking forever. I used a world-class surgeon, and I know he tried his best. It's still a big step higher than ED for me personally.

What approach did your surgeon take? Penoscrotal or infrapubic?

No regrets at all. I have an MPP and don't feel like switching to an IPP. Love it. And so do my girlfriends.
Born 1990. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Coloplast Genesis malleable implanted December 2024 by the great Dr. Laurence Levine in Chicago.

Long time member. I can only remember two members that voiced serious regrets.

One had a malleable. He was a poorly control diabetic. Never kept up on his diabetes treatment very well. The mpp had deteriorated somehow & he wasn't able to get a revision.

The member with an IPP was a long time member here. He had a history of being leery of an implant for several reasons. Concealment I think was high on his list. Several years ago I posted to him that I felt he would never get an implant of any style.

Maybe a year ago he was implanted. Something foreign in him seemed to set him off. Finally had it removed. Btw, he did use a very well regarded dr. His last few posts seemed he was off the rails. Talked of voluntary euthanasia. Have not seen him post in maybe 6 months.

I guess my feelings run along the lines of not only do you need a good dr. But a good state of mind is key also. Taking care of your physical & mental health is important to long term success.

I see a member posting about his dissatisfaction now. Even though he is less than a month after surgery.

For the record. My recovery was about average. I always knew that the pain would eventually stop. Pain can be treated. So many members are chasing what they think will be an easy surgery. I think it can be easy to be disappointed going in with that mind set. If I ever need a revision? I won't fear it. Even getting a scrotal method is fine. I can't find my scar if I look for it. While the AMS pump is supposedly large. It doesn't have large square corners. Mine consistently is harder that my teenage erction at 15 or maybe 17 pumps.

That's an insane journey brother. How is your size now after all those operations? Seems to go up and down like a yo yo.

Hoping this one lasts ages for you brother :) Best of luck with it.

I think the second user you’re referencing was Mark1974 - I actually think he also had a malleable (Coloplast Genesis).

Thanks, appreciate that!

I haven't been super quantitative with my measurements, more eyeballing than anything scientific. That said, with my previous Titan I was probably short about 2.5cm from my first implant. Fully engorged, more like 1.5cm difference. The yo-yo effect is real. Sizing decisions get made in the OR based on what fits safely after all the scar tissue from previous surgeries, so you're somewhat at the mercy of what your anatomy allows at that point and what the surgeon is comfortable with.

I have a completely unbased 'belief' that through regular usage (exercise that tunica by fucking and cycling alot!) you might eventually re-upsize to your natural limit. If you get another infection though, it's back to square one.

I regret not trying other methods for longer, for examlpe having higher dose pills or even trying injections.

If you have nothing to lose already (your penis absolutely does not work), then do it. But if your penis still works 50%, i recommend you to try everything before the implant.

My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. Like many others, I think I held on to belief that it would get better - that it was really just anxiety and not a physiological problem. The pills helped but I would still lose my erection if I didn’t get in quick and get done quick…after the pills quit working I tried injection and they didn’t work either. My doctor said it was clear I had significant leakage issues and wouldn’t ever be able to have and keep a good erection. The reality is that I had fought this issue my entire life…

I should have gotten an implant in my thirties but wanted until my sixties….

No regrets from the surgery - I’ve had more painful surgeries (sinus) and several that required longer recovery time (rotator, knee, ankle). Yea, my non inflated dick is much larger than my previous flaccid state but that’s more of a running joke between me and wife now. If I’m showing she’ll say something and I always say”It’s no big deal” and we both laugh.

My dick was once Mr Unreliable but now his nickname is EveryReady….I’m almost 68 and have good intercourse twice a week.

Injections still work fairly well for me. Ive used them for nearly 7 years and sick of it. Now I can get just one erection a night. Im tired of running to the bathroom for 10 minutes before sex. Tired of making sure I've got them on me. Tired of bouncers asking me what they are.

Fuck it. Im old enough to go all or nothing. Get that bicycle pump in my slug now.

What used to be hit-or-miss in the bedroom has turned into something I can count on every time. At almost 72, I'm still enjoying great sex with my wife 3+ times a week, and it's made our relationship closer and happier overall.

I don't regret the surgery at all. I've had worse pain from things like getting my gallbladder taken out, stents put in, and longer recoveries from fixing a hernia, replacing my hip, and fusing my spine. As stated my many, my biggest regret is also waiting so long to get the implant. Like a lot of guys, I kept thinking my ED would just go away on its own, that it was mostly stress in my head, not a real physical issue made worse by my prostate cancer treatments and other health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure. The pills helped a bit at first, but I'd lose it if we didn't get right to it and finish fast. When those stopped working, I tried injections, but they didn't help either. My doctor said I had bad leakage, so I'd never get a solid erection without some kind of fix. Honestly, I'd been dealing with this on and off for most of my adult life, and the cancer treatment just made it a lot worse.

I approach interactions with women with a sense of assured confidence, knowing that I possess the ability to fully realize their aspirations in ways that surpass even their most vivid imaginings.

I simply inflate the implant and maintain it in that state for two hours each afternoon while viewing television. A cycling session that doesn't burn any calories. The rigidity exceeds that which many experience at teenage. What a remarkable gift; I occasionally inflate it merely to appreciate its form.I wish I'd done the implant back in my 60s, but I put it off until my 70s, and looking back, that just meant more frustration than I needed.

Yes, indeed, on the matter of reliability. It surpasses the dependability of my artificial hip. It inflates effortlessly, and deflates just as simply. That concludes the discussion, gentlemen. I apologize for my unwavering optimism. Stay safe.
