Nocturne,
Some of my unexpected benefits are similar to what others have posted but I'll list them anyway:

* Becoming a shower - wasn't sure I'd get that but really happy I did.

* Regaining both my sexual confidence and overall male confidence.

* No more cold shrinkage. I've tested this a few times in our now very cold swimming pool.

* Like doggedly said it's pleasant feeling semi engorged all the time and larger.

* More intense orgasms (when I get them - still early on and can be hit and miss).

* Glans and dick suddenly swell with arousal and become extremely hard, just before orgasm. Feels like a natural erection.

* Actually realizing just how hard I can get and stay that way, potentially indefinitely. I know that's the objective but actually doing it I found surprising.

* Sometimes I get some spontaneous engorgement and a partial erection if aroused; and sometimes for no apparent reason at all.
It's not a boner but it feels good, and very unexpected since I had absolutely zero erectile function for 3 years post prostatectomy.

Positions are a bit restrictive for us. I can still do pretty much anything but my wife is less agile these days.
We have tried all sorts of different things in the past but standing doggy works best for her now.
I used to really enjoy having her legs over my shoulders. I could still do that position but she would be too uncomfortable.

I forgot to mention a less common one. Like many post prostatectomy patients I had serious problems with urinary incontinence.
After a very long time, a lot of rehab exercises, and various treatments, it finally settled down to be a trivial but persistent issue.
What I'm now finding after being implanted is that any instances of leakage have almost disappeared. Initially there was no significant change but since I started cycling things seem to have really improved. I'm hoping it continues that way. There are posts on FT about a South Korean medical study that found either complete or partial resolution of incontinence in leaky patients using partially inflated IPPs. I know some other brothers have had success with this also. I haven't seriously experimented with partial inflation yet, but just through disciplined and fairly aggressive cycling I seem to be getting benefits anyway.

What do you mean by improved ejaculation? do you mean you ejaculate larger amounts, or you shoot father? Never read about that before related to an implant

Wait... were you having "unexpected erections" pre-op? Isn't the hole reason of getting an implant the fact that you can't have erections in the first place?

Yeah, I had a problem where the corpora was stuck in a state of contraction; the implant eliminated this, thus there was greater passage for ejaculation.

I’m just a little over 4 months in so I’m still getting used to not ever losing my erection…like some others on here have shared, I’m pretty sure I had leakage issues from my twenties so there were so many things I never tried. When I got my erection it was time to use it or lose it and of course the fear of losing it would cause me to be extremely quick…I always brought my partner to an orgasm before I tried penetration - wanted to make sure she came because I didn’t go long enough for her to cum during intercourse.

But that is no longer the case. I pump up my dick when we began and spend 20-30 minutes just touching and rubbing her. We’re both 67 and she’d rather me just lightly touch/rub and massage than bring her to orgasm. And I don’t care how long I rub her - it’s a great part of our intimacy - because I’m not going to lose my erection. In the first month of intercourse I had lost a lot of sensitivity and sometimes couldn’t cum…but we’d just take a short break and begin again - I had no fear of losing my erection.

I’m 67 and my right shoulder bothers me and sometimes my lower back hurts as well. So I got my wife to sit on the edge of the bed and we had intercourse with me standing…I’d never done that before. She bought a chair for the bed room and we’ve used it a couple of times - it’s similar to standing next to the bed but she is able to put her feet on the floor and I’m on my knees (on a firm pillow to get the alignment right). Both of these positions are much easier on my shoulder and back and to be honest - they are just fun! We usually use a couple different positions every time now. I never would have tried that before out of fear of losing erection while switching positions.

My ejactulations are getting better. Early on I would cum somewhat unexpectedly. I don’t mean real quick but I guess in part to my loss of sensitivity, I wasn’t feeling it build. So my orgasms weren’t as powerful or pleasurable as they were in the past. This is getting better and I’m able to feel it building and to use my breathing to delay and maximize my orgasm.

Intercourse duration is much better but still a work in progress. As I mentioned, before the implant (and back when the pills still worked most of the time) I was so paranoid about losing my erection I would cum quickly…2 minutes or less. With the initial loss of sensitivity I had trouble cumming and would go too long for my wife’s comfort - as I mentioned, she’s not that interested in intercourse and her hip bothers her if we go more than 10 minutes. My sensitivity has/is returning so I can cum but it not as quick as it used to be. Sometimes it 5-7 minutes and sometimes it’s 10-12 minutes. Either are good with my wife - she doesn’t want me to go forever. In fact, if I’ve been doing yard work or been to gym that day, she’ll want make sure I’m not too tired because she doesn’t want me to “go forever.” It’s funny how a 67 year old woman thinks 10 minutes is forever.

Something I haven’t done is to go for a second orgasm…and I’m not sure when that wil happen. I know it won’t be back to back because my wife’s hip (and back) aren’t going to let her do that but it could be morning sex then and afternoon delight…when we take vacations we’ve always had sex every day so on the next trip Im going try two a days.

Probably the biggest thing I’m dealing with now is that I’m like a kid with a new toy and I want to play with it every day. Having a dick that works whenever I want it to has put a grin on my face. I’ve even named it -EveryReady like the battery. But I have to try to keep things reasonable because we are 67…when I hit the six week mark we had sex 4-5 times a week for the first couple of weeks and now we’re consistently hitting twice a week…that’s probably a good range for a couple of 67 year olds but I still feel like I could go every day…I was going indoor cycling before my implant and averted about 3500 miles per year over the last 3-4 years so I’m in decent shape…

Just some thoughts at four months

Have you tried placing a wedge type pillow under your wife’s lower back to get a better angle?

Actually, no. I suppose that would help somewhat.
