I'm now 5 1/5 weeks post op and the pump is now lodged at top left in my scrotum with only a centimetre free.
I have tried pulling it down for the past 3 weeks until my eyes watered with the pain, but to no avail. The surgeon also tried at the 3 week consultation, but it now seems to be there for good.
My suggestion would be to take a couple of Panadeine Forte, wait a couple of hours, then lie down, perhaps in a warm bath, and massage where the tubes disappear upward for a while to break up the mass of goo.
Then when you're ready, pull steadily downward and to the side for as long and as hard as you can.
It's early days for you, so it should come free, but probably only gradually.
Doggedly, I still believe you will be able to get the pump down from where it is. Just keep gently pulling it down. At 6 weeks I still had a good bit of pain in my scrotum and couldn't squeeze the pump too much. Just give it some time, but do stay in touch with your doctor.
Hang in there,
SWorks
I am regularly pulling it downwards while lying in bed without much success, but at least it's less uncomfortable now apart from when I sit down on a hard seat, causing the pump to lance up into the tubing exit.

Doggedly, I'm glad it is getting a little better, It's a journey that takes patience. At your point out from surgery I was still having a good bit of pain when sitting in hard chairs, everything down there would ache. I would have to take Tylenol on a regular basis during the day to keep the pain at bay. Sitting at home in my soft leather recliner with cold packs helped a lot when I would get the pain. This would happen when I did too much walking when I was trying to get out and get back to normal. Yes, my pump does push up when I sit or get on my Road bike saddle, the pump finds a place that is comfortable in my scrotum. Now that I'm out many years from surgery, I don't even notice when my pump gets pushed up. I just pull it down back in place when I do notice that it is up for riding my bike or anything else that pushes it up.
You're still early in your journey and all of us heal at different rates,
Keep hanging in there,
SWorks
