Doctor says I only need to cycle 15 minutes once a day and that Perito exercises are not necessary.

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

His biggest concern was repetitive spikes in PSI (fluid pressure) affecting the cylinders, tubing, pump valves and connectors. He didn't say "don't do them", but made his concerns clear.

Your doctor was an honest person to tell you this, even a child understands that by stressing the implant with that type of exercise, the implant being a mechanical device will tend to break long before its time, so if it breaks it will be you/me and all those who do this exercise who will have to do a check-up, no one will be able to trace why the device broke

When my doctor showed me how to inflate and deflate, he suggested I do that every day to keep the parts in good working condition.

He didn't say anything about being inflated for a particular length of time. Last year when I went for my annual checkup with him, he did say that staying inflated for excessive amounts of time could cause problems.

I've been inflating and deflating regularly as he suggested since I got the implant. Just recently it dawned on me that I look bigger than I used to look. Definitely longer, and maybe bigger around, too.

Perhaps others have also had this happen? I haven't made an effort to get bigger. It just seems to have happened over time. I'm not a lot bigger, but enough for me to notice.

Did you take any measurements? Memory can be tricky sometimes, especially after several years

I just started cycling even though when I asked my surgeon about how I should do it, he said that I was a pretty good size already and could do it for 5 minutes in the shower. I’m interested in getting back girth (was 6-6.25, now 6 at base, 5.5 mid, and 5.25 near head). I’m hoping that cycling will help. I guess it is supposed to be uncomfortable since I imagine you are stretching things out. I’m curious if those who have been cycling have actually seen a real improvement—especially in evening out the girth.

I’m roughly a year out and have gotten all my length back. I never did the Perito exercises; they never looked safe to me—an erection isn’t supposed to bend that way.

I like to call fucking “modified Perito exercises”. If you are vigorously putting your implants to use you are accomplishing the same thing. But way more fun.

I trust him and he's a grizzled veteran in the field but it conflicts with so many others' experiences here that I wanted to hear what you guys think.

Perito is a successful top implanter for a good reason. From my own personal journey my implant has been a complete success.
Perito had me cycle twice per day for one year. I've had excellent growth both length and girth so cycling worked for me. Being on this site for over 2 years now most are instructed to cycle. Post prostrate loss I was 2 inches non functional for 3 years hence the implant.

I'm maybe 2 or 3 weeks in cycling and made very soft perito exercise as my Dr didn't seemed excited about that exercise when I asked him.
His routine was exactly as yours 2 times 15 min, pump and move it in circles holding by the glans.
I must confess, it works.
Maybe perito ex will accelerate the length recovery but it will also stress the cylinders.
What i do in addition is to massage quite deeply the cylinders when inflated, from the bottom to the glans. You feel the cylinders get softer and then can add some pumps.

Follow your surgeon advice.

I think people are right to think about stressing the cylinders but the perito exercise is not meant to be done for years... if it was meant to be done for the life time of your implant then I would agree that's too much and that will shorten the life span!!

Cycling in the first year is for sure great, but personally, I prefer sex with a tight pussy, best 2 times or more a day.
