An implant forces the flaccid penis to be stiff, but it doesn't make it full, hot and full of blood like a regular erection would. A cock ring helps with that. Doesn't need to be as tight as the ones used with injections

But not necessary in many cases. I am only 5 weeks out and I have all that without a ring.
