We've all been there ....depressED ! I was spiraling and decided I had to get proactive about my sexual health/ happiness or disappear into the abyss. Thankfully I chose the former . Closing in on my 1 year " rebirth "

i was 32 when ED really started to take hold and it damn near ruined my life. I held on for a few years using testosterone, MT2 and sometimes an injection or two (actually gave me priaprism in the hospital). What I can advise you is to create a longer-term vision in your mind and know what stage you're in. If you're awaiting surgery and cannot have sex, do all of the other things that will help getting/keeping sex and keeping your sanity better in the future. Focus on success at work. Get into the greatest shape of your life. Read new books and expand your knowledge and mindset. Learn a new language. I'm not kidding. Do whatever you need to do that will set you up better on the other side of being implanted. This is what I did to my best ability until I was finally implanted at 37 and the next two years were some of my best.

Before I ran into ED I was in the gym daily, now I can barely get out of bed. I’m young and my options are implant or no sex. Has anyone sought professional mental health help for this? Did it help? Did this feeling go away after surgery or did it make it worse with the additional time needed to recover?

"ED" could also stand for " Extremely Depressed " because the one causes the other. We've all been there . This site stands as a testament to the men that has faced both and has overcome , as you will. I refer to my surgical date as a rebirth, a 2nd birthday. It gave me my sex life , happiness, and masculinity back ! Hang in there brother, you'll be there too.
