I don't think a dick surgeon has any social graces or bedside manner. They just dick surgeons. Fortunately, I have two URO's, the one doing the surgery doesn't have the best personally. But he has completed a very high number of PTs. My other URO, is a sweet heart of a person. She has been my ED doctor for a couple years. Took me from pills to the introduction of PT. She convinced me to take the leap of faith. She even consulted my wife about the ups and downs. She will not be in the operating room during surgery, due to she hasn't actually done PTs for a little over a year. But to help ease my mind and body, she will hold my hand during the anesthesia. She has a nick name in our family.....Dr. Winkie. So with her support, encouragement, and building my trust, she is my rock to get me through this. But most surgeons I know.....They just do their job. Cut & Fix. They not into counseling, but damn good surgeons.

This thread kind of makes me smile. True, go to the dr with the best average. But damn, I've said before that some of them need a personality transplant. I had a pulmonologist once that would of been well suited to be a proctologist.

I had a bad accident at work and tore my shoulder practitioner off less the outside skin. Two Drs looked at me and sent me to this specialist that dealt with massive muscle damage. He was reported to be the best! I couldn’t stand the guy… rude, short, and acted like he could care less about you as a person. I stuck it out, great results after 10 months of therapy but I dumped him after my first follow up and got another Dr just so I would t have to see him again. If it happened again I would probably go back to him though.

I guess I'm fortunate.

My urologist is funny, attentive, and sympathetic.

I felt comfortable talking with him almost immediately during our first appointment nearly four years ago. By the end of the appointment, I was telling him how I would have liked to fuck the hot young receptionist of his department, but couldn't

Now, of course, I could bang her all night. 8-)
