I read a study wherein implanted men found some erectile function returning. The speculation is that the implant compressed veins and partially "cured" venous leakage. One man even occasionally had sufficiennt rigidity for penetrative sex. No one should expect this, though. Probably you should not expect it to be permanent. Sorry to splash cold water.
