It's only human nature to be a bit nervous before any surgery. Let me reassure you it will be fine. When I did my implant at 68 years old it was my first ever surgery as an adult. I was scared, but knew I had to go through with it if sex was going to be in my future anymore.
I will say the best thing you've done is lurk around FT to learn about implants. I did not know this great site existed before my surgery, so I really went in blind. I just knew it would allow me erections again.

I'm a week implanted, I basically feel fine , very little discomfort.
Just be aware of something, mewhen you leave the hospital you are basically going to have a chubby for the next 3-4 weeks.

Loose clothes and long flannel shirts
Trust me!

33 here, got my implant with Dr Eid at age 31, best decision I've made. The implant is so much fun and being able to have sex with girls whenever is such a blessing and revolutionary improvement from my ED life. You're going to love it.
